Locality:
Kingsway is a few minutes walk away from Seahouses harbour. From here you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see our famous Puffins and the Longstone Lighthouse, home of Grace Darling. You can also charter a boat for sea-fishing or diving in and around the many wrecks situated just off the coast.

The Farne Islands are also a haven for nesting sea birds (including our famous Puffins) visited by bird watchers from all over the world.
These along with the seal colonies are easily accessible via a boat trip from Seahouses Harbour. Our guesthouse is popular with bird watchers being situated so close to the harbour and all of it's amenities.
Wherever you decide to explore in North Northumberland you will find you are never far from any of our major attractions which are easily accessible on miles of uncluttered roads.

Bamburgh Castle, Beadnell Harbour and the Longstone Lighthouse are just a few of the many sights within a short distance of Kingsway. We have a wide range of tourist leaflets and brochures to help you explore beautiful Northumberland.
Our nearest Market Town at Alnwick is the ancestral home of the Duke of Northumberland and the setting Alnwick Castle the home of 'Harry Potter' as well as the Alnwick Garden!

Award winning clean beaches are on our doorstep (not literally). You will find mile after mile of golden sands to walk on without bumping into the usual crowds you would normally find on other UK resorts.
The Scottish Borders, Berwick, Wooler and the Cheviot Hills are within easy driving distance as are our neighbouring harbours, such as Craster - famous for its kippers.

Holy Island (also known as Lindisfarne) is a short drive away like many of the other sights in our area and is accessible via a tidal causeway just beyond Bamburgh.
Where ever you decide to visit during your stay with us you will always be sure of a warm welcome. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you want any advice on our local attractions prior to your visit. We are always on hand to make sure your stay at Kingsway is a memorable one.
