Situated in the city centre, at Haymarket, the eco-friendly Glenora Guest House, Edinburgh is close to the city’s excellent shops, the financial district, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC - a 5 minute walk from us) the Airlink bus stop and the top tourist attractions.

It is in the ideal location for business travellers and for Scottish short city breaks.

The Glenora Hotel Accommodation

Our rooms are furnished and decorated thoughtfully and luxuriously. We offer a wide selection of locally sourced and organic produce in our dining room. The Glenora Guest House hotel provides excellent accommodation and service at a reasonable price – in the very heart of the city.

The Glenora Guest House hotel offers a choice of single, double, triple or family rooms in central Edinburgh. All are ensuite with shower and furnished and decorated by a local interior designer. Each room has an LCD Flat Screen television with access to over 40 Freeview Digital TV channels and 10 radio stations, telephone, hairdryer and internet access.

In each bedroom there is a hospitality tray with a choice of teas, coffees and herbal teas, all of which are both organic and Fairtrade. The ensuites boast a fine selection of complimentary toiletries including Scottish fine soap, shower gel and conditioning shampoo.

We also provide ironing facilities and guests can use faxing facilities on request.The Glenora Guest House is a non-smoking establishment. We have a total of 11 rooms.

For guests travelling by car, parking is usually available on the streets in front of and close to The Glenora. It is free to park overnight from 18.30 until 08.30 and all day on Sundays. Daytime parking requires the purchase (from one of the many parking ticket machines) and display of a ticket between 08.30 and 18.30 pm from Monday to Saturday.

There is also limited parking available at the nearby NCP Car Park at Morrison Street at a cost for 24 hours.

Dining
Breakfast is served daily in our bright and sunny dining room and includes a choice of continental buffet and full cooked breakfast, all of which is prepared from entirely organic produce. At the Glenora Guest House we are proud to be the first guesthouse in Edinburgh to serve an exclusively organic breakfast.

We work closely with local producers and suppliers to offer you an authentic Scottish Breakfast.

DIRECTIONS
The Glenora Hotel is conveniently located close to Haymarket train station, near to several major bus routes (50 yards from the inexpensive Edinburgh Airport Bus**), and within 10 minutes walk to Princes Street, the main shopping street in Edinburgh.

Getting There by Railway:
We are located across from Haymarket Station.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
The Glenora Hotel is situated a 30 second walk away from the Haymarket Airport bus stop.

Getting There by Ferry:
From Rosyth, follow signs for Forth Rd Bridge. Cross bridge and stay on A90. At Barnton Junction, turn right onto A902. Go straight over roundabout. At junction, turn left onto A8. Drive approx 3.5miles. Road becomes Haymarket Terrace. Turn left at Rosebery Cres before Haymarket Station. Hotel is on left.
