You must explore Holyrood Park, which is beside the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace at the lower end of the Royal Mile.

The house itself is 125 years old with original ornate plaster cornicing and warmly decorated throughout. There is ample parking and we are situated on a bus route.

The Royal Mile itself is a wondrous attraction, like walking down a cobbled street of history with many attractions on and near the Royal Mile with Holyrood House (The Queens residence when visiting the City) resting at the bottom.

There are great views like this one: you are standing on Salisbury Craigs looking east over St Margaret's Loch and Arthur's Seat. Turn around and you have great views over the Old Town towards Edinburgh Castle.
