Buckstone Bar and Bistro
Situated in the Hotel grounds, the Buckstone Bistro is a well known local meeting place and offers an attractive place to enjoy a quiet drink or sensibly priced pub grub. The split-level bar and conservatory offer stunning views over the city; seating extends onto the terrace in summer.

Have a great day out at Edinburgh Zoo, just 10 minutes west of the city centre. Set in 82 acres of breathtaking parkland, and home to over 1, 000 rare and beautiful animals - many of them endangered in the wild - the zoo is open every day of the year!

There are a number of 'walks' in the city centre - some a bit spooky, some historical and factual and some, well, just a little special.

From the Tourist Information Centre on Princes Street, take a LRT bus number 11 or 15 from the garden side of Princes Street to Comiston Road. Alight at the Shell garage. Then a short walk to the Hotel.

Take a taxi from Waverley Bridge or take a LRT bus number 11 or 15 from the garden side of Princes Street to Comiston Road. Alight at the Shell garage. Then a short walk to the Hotel.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
From the airport take an airport taxi to the Hotel.

Getting There by Ferry:
From Rosyth take M90 south over Forth Road Bridge to Edinburgh. The hotel is 1 mile from the City Bypass. Take the city bypass to the Lothianburn Junction take the A702 to the City.
