We offer you some of the best rooms in Edinburgh, all within an exclusive detached house and ideally located near to Arthur's Seat and within walking distance of all major city centre attractions.

Ard-na-Said is one of few Guest Houses able to offer free off street parking.

Our breakfast menu is extensive and offers you fresh produce, which is well presented, setting you up for another day of discovery on our fascinating and historic city.

Ard Na Said Guest House Accommodation

- Wallace is our flagship room and has a 4 posted super king sized bed.
- Burns is a twin or king sized room with fantastic new en-suite.
- Stevenson is a triple room having a double and a single bed, has large en-suite.
- Scott is a twin or king sized double room with en-suite.
- Rankin is a ground floor twin or double room with en-suite.

Our rooms have been refurbished to meet the new 5 star standards. They are all large and bright with particular attention being paid to retaining the original charm of each room but still offering modern facilities like spacious en-suites.

Guest rooms are available on ground and first floors and have en-suite facilities and digital tvs.
A wifi network is also available.

All furniture and bedding has been personally chosen to enhance the character of each room and to ensure you a memorable stay.

All our rooms have an en-suite (shower, toilet and basin) and thermostatically controlled heating. The rooms are all supplied with complimentary tea and coffee, hair-dryers and digital flat screen tv/dvd. We have a selection of popular film titles on dvd for you entertainment.

You will find your rooms tastefully furnished making your time in Edinburgh as comfortable as possible. All rooms have central heating, tea/coffee making facilities, tv and private bathroom/en-suite. There is also a Guest lounge for residents use.

In the morning you are sure to be satisfied by a full Scottish breakfast which will set you up for a great day. Vegetarians also catered for.

The house has a wireless network for internet connection and we can provide you with a laptop or you can bring your own. Our check out time is 10:30am.

Ard Na Said is a family run Victorian guest house in quiet residential area 1.5 miles from the city centre.
Ard-na-said Guest House has recently been renovated to a high standard with many Victorian features reinstated.
It is set in attractive gardens in a quiet residential area and offers speedy access to the heart of Edinburgh.

We are situated close to Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat, where the best walking and inspiring views can be found in Edinburgh.

Within walking distance we can offer golf, tennis and swimming, also within 200m local shops include a Laundrette and a Post Office.

For those wishing to explore the numerous wonders of Edinburgh, we are only 100m from a bus stop where there is an excellent bus service to the city centre.
