Clyde Cottage Accommodation

External stone steps lead up to the ground floor, with a lounge, dining kitchen and toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker, fridge-freezer, washer- drier, microwave and dishwasher. There is a colour TV and both upstairs rooms have lovely views of the Firth and pier.

The original curved stone stairs lead to the lower ground floor where there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom with ensuite shower room and a bathroom with bath and shower above. Full gas central heating. All gas and electricity, linen and towels are included in the rent.

Travel cot and high chair available. There is a garden to front and rear, the rear garden being private, suitable for young children, and with patio and garden furniture. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Private parking is available at the rear of the property, accessed from John Street.

Attractions
Very convenient for the town centre, with a good selection of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Dunoon, the birthplace of Robert Burns' Highland Mary, has been a popular seaside holiday resort for many years, and is ideally situated for steamer cruising and touring the hills and lochs of the Cowal peninsula.

Water sports, fishing and golf are all available, and the town"s swimming pool is only 250 yards away. Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible by boat and train.

DIRECTIONS
Getting there from the Information Centre:

From Dunoon Tourist Information Centre turn left and walk along past swimming pool and Shell Garage. The house is just after the hairdressers.

Getting There by Railway:
From Gourock walk along to Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal and take ferry to Dunoon.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
from Glasgow Airport either take bus to Gourock and then ferry to Dunoon or if hiring a car follow M8 motorway to Greenock and then continue on A8 to Gourock and ferries - either Western Ferries or Caledonian MacBrayne will take you to Dunoon.

Getting There by Ferry:
From Caledonian MacBrayne Dunoon Pier turn right along the seafront past the swimming pool and Shell Garage. The house is on your left just after the hairdressers within easy walking distance of pier.

From Western Ferries, at Hunters Quay turn left along the sea front for 1.5 miles until you come to a mini roundabout at the bottom of John Street. Go straight through and the house is second on the right.
