Dunkeld hotelUpper Hatton is a charmingly restored 17th century country house in a spectacular elevated position in the Perthshire hills.

Open all year round, this three star rated house has three letting rooms, a lounge with log fire and traditional farmhouse kitchen with range.

They are a mile from lovely, historic Dunkeld, the ancient ecclesiastical capital of Scotland, surrounded by hills and through which flows the mighty River Tay, famous for its salmon and riverside walks.

Beautiful rural getaway in the heart of Perthshire. All you've ever imagined about homely Scottish hospitality is available at Upper Hatton. But a mile or so from Dunkeld up a track leading to one of the most idyllic Lochs in Scotland, immortalised by painters for over two centuries, Upper Hatton is a 17th Century farmhouse totally restored in 1990.

Stone built with all mod cons, a spacious sitting room for guests and a kitchen with Red Stove on which owner Marjory Ann cooks to order for breakfast; traditional Scottish baking a specialty.
