Getting There by Car
From Glasgow take M74 south towards Carlisle and leave at Jn 15. Head
for Dumfries on A701. Upon entering Dumfries, go through 1st traffic lights
and take Rt turning for Kirkton and Duncow. Go through Kirkton and at
Duncow turn Right at the School and left after the bridge. Take left fork
towards Mill Cottage, go over bridge and up the track.
From Carlisle take M74 North, then take A75 (Dumfries). At Little Chef
roundabout take Ring Road for Stranraer. Carry on thru next roundabout.
Next roundabout take A701 (Edinburgh) & after the Tesco (on your right)
carry on until left turning for Kirkton and Duncow. Follow instructions
as above
Getting There by Railway
At Railway Station in Dumfries head along Lovers Walk towards Edinburgh
Road. At Traffic Lights take Rt turning heading away from Town Center
along Edinburgh Road. At the roundabout after Ballantynes take 2nd exit
towards Edinburgh along A701. At mini roundabout at Tescos take 1st exit
and then take the turning on your Left for Kirkton and Duncow and follow
instructions as above by Car.
