Premier inn dumfries is situated 2 miles from the town center we are a 40 bedroom hotel but from february 2008 we will have 61 bedrooms all ensuite.
Premier Inn Accommodation
Each room is provided with tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a fan for the hot nights. Iron and ironing boards are available from reception on request. The rooms are serviced every day by their housekeeping staff and fresh towels are provided on a daily basis. You can access internet from the rooms as they have wi-fi throughout the hotel, cards are available again on request from the receptionist.
They also have the solway gate restaurant on site which has just newly had a refurbishment and how spectacular it looks they serve breakfast monday – friday 7am – 9am saturday and sunday 8am – 10am and they start serving meals from midday till 10pm in the evening and the bar is open till midnight (except sundays). They are manned 24 hours a day and are always happy to help.

Getting there from the information center
Come out the car park from the tourist information turn left past the
royal bank of scotland to the traffic lights straight on then keep in
the left lane and head up towards the traffic lights keep in the left
lane and go straight on through the next 3 set of traffic lights at the
round about take the 3rd exit off follow the road at the next round about
take the 2nd exit off follow the road and signs for carlisle go over 3
round about's and we are situated on the left hand side you will see our
sign
Getting there by car
They are based on the a75 trunk road between stranraer and carlisle. If
traveling north follow signs for stranraer/dumfries if traveling south
follow signs for carlisle
Getting there by railway
Leave the main car park outside the station go t the top of the road to
the traffic lights turn left at the round about take the 3 exit off by
the police station at the next round about take the 1st exit off onto
the annan road follow the road straight you will go over 3 round about's
and after the 3rd roundabout we are situated on the left hand side.
