Dumfries hotelBoreland is an upland sheep farm set in the rolling hills North of Dumfries town. The farm has 365 acres of pasture and rough grazing with a flock of 550 breeding sheep including pure Beltex ewes and tups. The river Cairn runs through the farm on the edge of our hay meadow, offering free fishing to guests.

Come and relax in the warm friendly atmosphere of Boreland Farm with its traditionally built 19th century farmhouse set in the rolling countryside of Dumfriesshire.

They are located between Dunscore and Moniaive on a small road by the river Cairn aprox. 12 miles north of Dumfries town.

The family run upland farm allows visitors to experience a variety of farm activities and caters well for younger guests who are made very welcome. There is plenty of room for playing in the gardens and many animals to see around the farm.
