Eating at Loch Ness Inn:
Dining in the Lewiston Restaurant is more than just food; it’s an experience, we source all our produce locally, and serve our award winning Michelin dishes all day.

Most of the fish on our menus is sourced from the little fishing village of Mallaig, on the west coast of Scotland, although our famous whole prawns hail from Applecross Bay - slightly further north.

The beef, lamb and venison comes from some of the best hill farms and estates across the Highlands - most of your venison is found wild in the hills and mountains above Loch Laggan. All of our Highland beef is fully matured before it reaches us, giving you greater texture and flavour.

If you prefer vegetarian options, never fear! Our kitchen team has put together some really tasty options for you, and always enjoys the challenge of coming up with new and exciting recipes.

If you have a slightly sweet tooth, we should be able to accommodate you with an ever changing array of mouth watering desserts. Scotland is also blessed with some really fine cheeses, you’ll always find a good selection at The Inn.

Drinking:
Enjoy a fine selection of Scottish Whiskies and Real Ales in our Brewery Bar, or if the weather is good enjoy the Highland air in our well appointed beer garden.

Our small, cosy bar is a meeting place for locals and visitors to gather and exchange tales of long treks, sore feet, and “the one that got away”. Refresh with a local real ale or hand pulled cider after a day on The Great Glen Way.

Location:
The Loch Ness Inn, conveniently located between Drumnadrochit and Urquhart Castle in the village of Lewiston near the Great Glen Way and only 15 miles from Inverness, is set in the heart of the local Scottish Highland community where you will meet hikers, tourists and locals in friendly comfortable surroundings. The perfect location for hotel accommodation, the restaurant or our bar.
