Kilmartin Chalet Accommodation

All our Chalets are discreetly sited on a 10 acre wooded hillside, overlooking Loch Meiklie and the hills beyond. All are approached by a single track road.

Lyoness Chalet (Sleeps 4):
In a picturesque setting, surrounded by trees and bracken on a 10 acre wooded hillside, these 6 pine chalets are each in their own private position with views to trees and some have a lovely outlook over Loch Meiklie to the hills beyond.
This is a quiet location with stunning scenery and there are many beautiful walks to enjoy. Birds and wildlife are abundant in the area and a boat is available to visitors for trout fishing on Loch Meiklie.

Cub Chalet (Sleeps 2):
There are two Cub Chalets available.
1 double bedroom. Lounge, kitchen/dining room and bathroom with shower over bath. Dishwasher and DVD player.

Bed linen is provided, towels can be hired. In a picturesque setting, surrounded by trees and bracken on a 10 acre wooded hillside, these 6 pine chalets are each in their own private position with views to trees and some have a lovely outlook over Loch Meiklie to the hills beyond.

The chalets all have pine interiors and provide comfortable, holiday accommodation. Managed by the resident owners, the chalets are reached by a fairly steep narrow track and each has a parking space. Bed linen is provided, towels can be hired. The Steading Bar/Restaurant is at the park entrance. Shops 5 miles, tea room 1 mile for meals/takeaways.

Each chalet is all electric and has a fridge, cooker, microwave, television, DVD and CD Player.
Castles Distance: Urquhart castle 8 miles Activities Fishing: On Loch Meikle.

Location:
This is a quiet location with stunning scenery and there are many beautiful walks to enjoy. Birds and wildlife are abundant in the area and a boat is available to visitors for trout fishing on Loch Meiklie.

This is a good centre for touring, just 5 miles from Loch Ness, 20 miles from Inverness, with Fort William and the North West Coast easily accessible.

The Steading Bar/Restaurant is at the park entrance. Shops 5 miles, tea room 1 mile for meals/takeaways.
Loch Ness, the largest freshwater Loch in these Islands, is just 5 miles away. Perhaps a chance to spot the monster from the ramparts of centuries old Urquhart Castle. Or if unlucky, visit Loch Ness 2000 at Drumnadrochit.

Glen Affric, Glen Cannich, Glen Strath Farrar are amongst the most beautiful in Scotland and are just a few minutes away by road.

A boat is available for fishing on Loch Meiklie. Our small family run Chalet Park offers good value for money and a holiday to remember.

Pets are welcome (small charge) but must be kept under strict control.

Local sites of interest include Inverewe Gardens include:
Fort George and other historical Scottish Keeps and Castles, Culloden Battlefield, The Isle of Skye, The Whisky Trail and, of course, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle.
Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, is 20 miles away and is a picturesque city with beautiful walks along the river Ness. There is Eden Court Theatre, museum, a multiplex cinema and many forms of outdoor entertainment during the summer months, including the popular Inverness Highland Games.
