Drumnadrochit hotelGreenlea is a charming house situated on the Village Green in Drumnadrochit.

Built in 1810, the first house on the green, it still has many traditional features, such as the original Georgian windows and is now B listed.

The village Green, once the site of cattle sales, is at the heart of the village and the house is within minutes walk of all amenities, i.e. restaurants, café, tourist information office and hotels.

3 Bedrooms 2 of which are accessed via a private entrance and are self contained, a ground floor room with ensuite shower/toilet the other room on the first floor has a private bathroom with bath (very popular with walkers) and a shower.
The 3rd bedroom, with ensuite shower/ toilet is situated within the main house. All the bedrooms combine old fashioned charm with all the modern comforts you expect.

Full Scottish, vegetarian or continental breakfast is served between 8.30.and 9.00. although early breakfast is available, by prior arrangement, to allow you to make the most of your day.
Private driveway for vehicles and secure hardstanding to the back of the house for motor bikes and cycles.
WIFI INTERNET ACCESS

Packed lunches are available on request. We are in the process of setting up drying and laundry facilities.
Evening meals can be arranged For Late Arrivals
Airport/train collection and drop off, tours of sites of local interest and baggage transfer by arrangement.

Drumnadrochit is on the Great Glen way between Fort William and Inverness and is an ideal stopover point for cyclists and walkers.

It is ideally situated for those wishing to explore loch Ness with it’s stunning scenery and the many myths which surround it.

There are 2 exhibition centres nearby or you may want to cruise the loch to experience its eerie magic for yourself.

restaurants/hotels and visitor attractions.

Location:
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house, guests who wish to smoke are welcome to sit in the garden.
Drumnadrochit is beautifully situated close to loch Ness, near Urquart castle and the scenic Glen Affric, generally held to be one of Scotland,s most beautiful landscapes.

The village is an ideal base from which to explore the Highlands. The City of Inverness, capital of the Highlands, with it’s many bars, restaurants and theatres is only a 20 minute drive away.

How to get Here:
Fly from Luton Gatwick (London) to Inverness Airport. There are car hire facilities (Hertz and Avis), bus services into Inverness and taxis.

By train from any UK railway station to Inverness station.

Bus to Inverness from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Skye - the mainland cities have connecting services from all major towns and cities in the UK and there are pick-up points at many small towns and villages between the cities listed and Inverness.

By road follow A96 from Aberdeen to Inverness then A82 to Drumnadrochit. A9 from Edinburgh to Inverness then A82 to Drumnadrochit. A82 from Glasgow to Drumnadrochit.
Inverness Airport /Rail/Bus only 30 minutes north of Drumnadrochit.
Drumnadrochit lies on the A82 which links Inverness and Fort William.
