This traditional cottage nestles in the glen of Glenurquhart which stretches
from Loch Ness in the east along to the village of Corrimony to the west.
This central location is a great base for visitors to enjoy long scenic walks, exploring the surrounding countryside of the Glen Affric nature reserve with its peaceful loch and the historic village of Drumnadrochit which lies across the river Enrick.
The village of Cannich is only 4 miles away and has a post office and
shops for visitors to stock up on their self catering essentials.
There is also The Slater's Arms pub where guests can take a break from
the cooking, get to know the locals and enjoy the friendly atmosphere
while having a meal and perhaps a drink or two at the end of the day.

then Glen Strathfarra and Aigas Golf Course 14 miles; Beauly 22 miles
and has a 'Made in Scotland' centre. Inverness City is 24 miles with Aquadome,
Museum, shops, cinema.
The Isle of Skye is 1½ hours travel, or have a short drive to Corrimony
Chamber Cairns Burial Grounds and take a walk to RSPB Reserve or simply
enjoy the peace and tranquillity reading in the conservatory and relaxing
