Dalbeattie hotelGlenearly Caravan and Camping Park is situated in 100 acres of open countryside just outside the town of Dalbeattie amid the magnificent scenery to be found in Dumfries and Galloway and enjoys panoramic views taking in Long Fell, Maidenpap and Barhill Forest.

The predominantly adult caravan and camping park is a haven of peace for statics, tourers, motorhomes and tents.

There is an abundance of wildlife on view - buzzards, yellow wagtails, woodpeckers and goldfinch being some of the varieties of birds and, of course, our resident red squirrels. You may also be lucky enough to spot a fox or a badger in one of the surrounding fields. There are also pet donkeys and ponies.

We have for hire two Thistle awarded, double glazed and centrally heated static caravans. Both have one double and one twin bedroom and can sleep from 2 to 6 people.

They both have shower room/toilet, fully equipped kitchens including oven/hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a spacious dining/lounge area complete with freeview television.

Each home has a parking space beside it.

We include in our hire prices the cost of gas and electricity and provide all bedding. Beds are made up ready for your arrival. You will need to bring your own towels.

Our hires are from 3.30pm Friday to 10.30am the following Friday, although we can accommodate long weekends and mid week breaks in the quieter months.

Pet Policy
Glenearly is a Dog Friendly Park with a dog walk provided. Dogs must not be left alone in caravans but Crinan Kennels, about 2 miles away, can provide either day or overnight care to allow you a break or a round of golf.

We also have a games room and play area. All facilities are open all year. Each Spring and Summer we host a free barbeque for our regular (and new) customers. There is fancy dress for both young and old plus bouncy castles and a children's entertainer for the kids.

The local area
Dumfries and Galloway is an area of great natural beauty with much to offer the tourist and is ideally located on major roads leading from both North and South. The county town of Dumfries is situated on the A75 a short distance from the top of the M6 motorway.

Dalbeattie - a Gaelic term meaning “valley of the silver birch” is a town with some 4,000 inhabitants. Many older buildings are constructed of grey, hand-hewn granite extracted from local quarries giving the town a character of its own. The town has a variety of small businesses catering for all your holiday needs.

Glenearly Caravan Park is situated on the fringe of the town and is reached by the A711 from runs between Dumfries and Dalbeattie. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the Town centre.

Since opening Glenearly in April 1999, we have developed a tasteful touring and holiday home caravan park in the open countryside on the outskirts of Dalbeattie. We are a peaceful family run park and take pride in keeping everything in first class condition for all our visitors.
