Five
miles north of the market town of Cupar in Fife stands Mountquhanie House,
an early 19th Century country house.
This beautiful example of Georgian architecture, set within its own rolling parkland, contains three self-contained apartments, each with their own private entrance.
The Dairy House, on the ground floor, has been tastefully modernised and completely refurbished in 2009 to form a spacious, oil centrally heated property.
With a hint of luxury , it forms part of the West Wing of the house. Approached by steps, it is a favourite with regular guests.
Standing in mature parkland, in the grounds of ruined Mountquhanie Castle, "the new house", built in the classic Georgian style, offers 21st century comfort, along with those extra blessings of peace and privacy.

Family Bedroom - with 5ft wide "zip and link"
double plus single bed. Bathroom - with electric shower over bath.
The apartment, would be a particular delight to country lovers. Its idyllic
setting is a haven for wildlife, including rabbits and red squirrels.
The gardens and grounds, including play area (with swings, climbing frame
and sand pit) , jumbo trampoline, hard tennis court and croquet lawn,

Getting there by Aeroplane:
Cross the Forth Road Bridge and leave the M90 motorway at Milnathort at
Exit 8. Follow the A91 signposted St Andrews and Tay Bridge for 15 miles.
Go left at the Melville Lodges roundabout onto the A92 for 7 miles to
a signpost for Rathillet (on the left). At the crossroad immediately after
the signpost turn left signposted Creich.
