Cottage is the ideal holiday base for couples & families alike.Just
10 miles from St Andrews, this 1850's cottage has a really relaxed feel
with open fire, lovely garden area & the most wonderful uninterrupted
sea views.
The cottage, originally the home of the local carpenter, was sensitively renovated to a high standard in 2001 whilst still retaining many of the original features.The village of Crail has all you’ll need for your day to day needs including a fantastic butchers, well stocked green grocers, lobster/crab shack, fish & chip shop, hotel and late night general store.
With its narrow lanes, cobbled streets and exceptionally friendly locals, Crail is a great place to simply enjoy a slower pace of life. The area is world renowned for golf with Kingsbarns & the Old Course amongst the many courses nearby and in St Andrews itself there is the theatre, cinema, historic buildings, shopping and enough restaurant options to keep you entertained.

The mix of traditional and modern is continued throughout with tasteful furnishings, log and coal burning fire, 2 TVs, DVD player & quality CD player. There is central heating throughout.The modern kitchen with dining area, looking out to sea, is the ideal place to relax and prepare your meals if you tire of eating out at the many great restaurants in the area. The large double bedroom enjoys great views from three sides and with a relaxing sofa you have the chance to catch up on a novel or two.
You can even lie in bed and enjoy the sea views!The living room, as with the rest of the cottage, is furnished and decorated to the standard you’d expect from a 4 star STB rated holiday accommodation. The living room sofa /sofa bed gives flexibility for 2 to 4 people to stay at any one time.
The cottage is well equipped to make your stay comfortable including: central heating, open fire, gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, TV, CD player, video/DVD, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, garden furniture, board games/books, travel cot or foldaway bed available.
Included in the rental cost is heating, and linen/towels which will be in place on your arrival.The cottage is non-smoking and they are unable to accept pets.
