The Old Manor Accommodation

Premier room:
Light and airy yet quiet and relaxing. Tastefully decorated with tapestry and baroque light fittings the room has beautiful sea view over the Firth of Tay to the coast of Fife and St. Andrews

The largest bedroom at the Old Manor. This room is normally considered our 'family' room and can comfortably sleep three or four people.
Period Furniture and fittings in the room enhance the outlook to the Panbride church where religious gatherings have been held for over 800 years. A combination bath and shower in the en-suite adds to the versatility.

The blues, yellows and greens of this brightly coloured room are reminiscent of the beautiful flowers found in the castle gardens at Crathes near Banchory.
A co-ordinated en-suite bathroom and tasteful decoration compliment this room overlooking the garden and town of Carnoustie. Sit and relax in the evening sun.

Like its castle namesake further along the coast this easterly facing room has views over the sea and coast to Fife. This spacious room has been redecorated for the 2004 season. With the complimenting en-suite combination of shower & bath, this is just what you need to relax in after a hard day's holiday.

With outlooks over the Angus Countryside this is a twin room with individual brass beds and a dedicated private bathroom. The predominantly lemon and pastel colours in this room harmonize with the original fireplace that epitomizes the period of the house.

The Cottage is situated within the walled garden of The Old Manor B&B on the outskirts of Carnoustie in the preservation hamlet of Panbride.

A short walk from the seashore the cottage lies beside the historic Panbride kirk (church) on a sight that has held religious gatherings for over 800 years.

The recently modernised cottage offers a comfortable let for 5/6 people with all the modern conveniences of Sky television, hi-fi, video, dvd etc.
A private telephone is provided with calls charged at cost at end of stay.

The bedrooms consist of one double and a larger second bedroom normally fitted with double and single beds. This arrangement can be altered to suit individual requirements to break down into bunk beds, singles, cots etc. The compact fully fitted kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven/ hob, washer/drier, and microwave.

The comfortable bathroom combines both bath and shower for versatility and comfort. A new conservatory just completed adds another dimension to ‘sea views’ and leads onto the large landscaped garden that surrounds the property.

The extensive lawns make the enclosed gardens a wonderful safe play area for children. A summer house offers beautiful views over the River Tay to St Andrews & Fife.
All power including heating, electric and gas are included in the price of the let as is bed linen and towels as required.

A welcome tray to include tea, coffee, cakes & bread is provided on arrival. Outdoor activities ranging from horse riding & golf on over 30+ courses can be found locally along with sea, river or pond fishing.
With a variety of hills & glens to suit every ability why not try hill walking or mountain biking. Any number of historical castles such as Glamis, Scone Palace & Balmoral are within easy driving distance and make for ideal day trips.

The conservatory has a 4 place dining table and a 3 piece suite. Double doors lead out to a barbeque area and offer beautiful views over the river Tay to the coast of Fife.

The lounge is provided with television, satellite TV, a video recorder and hi-fi with CD player & radio. A private telephone is installed for your convenience, calls are charged at cost at the end of your stay. An open archway leads to a spacious and comfortable conservatory.
