· Troon Room - double

The three guest bedrooms all offer en-suite facilities. The Gleneagles and Turnberry rooms, two double/twin rooms, are located on the upper floor. Both rooms are south-facing and have views of the North Sea.

Our Gleneagles room has leading-edge bathroom design with a large power shower.
The Turnberry bathroom features a relaxing spa bath and power shower.

On the ground floor, the newly refurbished Troon Room contains a king-size bed. The modern bathroom features a large power shower and underfloor heating.

The ground floor also contains the dining room and residents' lounge, complete with open fire, TV, DVD, video, books and games. Both rooms are south-facing and look out on to the garden.

With the town's golf courses, leisure centre, beach, shops, restaurants and pubs on its doorstep, Park House is ideally placed to cater for the wide-ranging interests and tastes of its guests.

Holiday Cottage in Carnoustie:
Next door to Park House is 'the cottage'. The cottage can be set up as a twin or double, and has an en suite shower room containing a walk-in power shower.

It also has a fully fitted kitchen with dining and lounge area. Equipment includes oven, hob, fridge, washing machine and cooking and eating utensils.
Cottage guests may wish to use the Park House garden area to relax.
All electricity and taxes are included in the price for the cottage.

Edinburgh - 80 minutes by car
Glasgow - 120 minutes by car
Prestwick - 140 minutes by car.

Bus:
There is a regular bus service from Carnoustie to Dundee and Arbroath.

Train:
We are conveniently placed for rail travel, with the station just a 3-minute walk away. Over 30 trains stop here each day (Mon-Sat), with many more stopping at nearby Arbroath and Dundee. To view times for Carnoustie, visit National Rail Enquiries.

Local Road Directions:
Driving along the A92 dual carriageway road towards Carnoustie from Dundee or Arbroath, it is best to leave the A92 and head into Carnoustie at the junction for Muirdrum. Following this road (number 930) will quickly bring you into Carnoustie town centre.

Park House is located close to the centre of Carnoustie, down a quiet cul-de-sac. After you drive into Park Avenue, you will find us on the right-hand side, about 100 metres down from the junction with the High Street. An off-street, private parking area is provided at the side of the house for our guests. The golf courses are just a 3-minute walk from Park House.

Golf in Carnoustie:
Situated on the East Coast of Scotland, the town of Carnoustie has been associated with the game of golf since the sport's early days, and has hosted five Open Championships.
The town's Championship Course ranks as one of the world's great golfing challenges, and was a fitting venue for the memorable climax to the 1999 Open Championship.

The Open returns to Carnoustie in 2007. In addition to the Championship Course, Carnoustie Links is home to the Burnside and Buddon golf courses.
If golf is your passion, you will certainly be impressed by the wide range of different style courses to be found within easy travelling distance of this popular seaside resort.
For the local region contains 50 first-class golf courses, including both inland and traditional links layouts, all within a 60-minute drive of Carnoustie.

Further links courses are found at Barry, Monifieth and Montrose which, along with Downfield (Dundee), act as qualifying courses when the Open is held at Carnoustie.
Nearby inland courses can be found at Arbroath, Edzell, Brechin, Forfar and Kirriemuir. With the 'home of golf' of St. Andrews just a pleasant 35-minute drive away - following the picturesque road that runs along both sides of the River Tay - Carnoustie is an ideal base for the perfect golfing holiday.
