mins walk from the town center and all the associated amenities. The house
has recently been refurbished to the highest standard, with accommodation
comprising living room, dining kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and bathroom.

The bustling town center contains numerous shops, coffee shops, restaurants, two supermarkets, Scotland’s oldest working cinema, Springbank, Glengyle and Glen Scotia distilleries, harbour and promenade.
Castleacres is an ideal location for exploring central and southern Kintyre with a wealth of activities on the doorstep. For golfers the championship course at Machrihanish is 5 miles to the West on the Atlantic coast, and the challenging courses at Dunaverty and Carradale within easy reach. The new Golf Course at Mach Dunes provides an additional challenge to the established courses.
Outdoor activities abound with various hill walking routes, including the recently opened Kintyre Trail which can be sub-divided into daily sections, surfing & wind surfing at Machrihanish and Westport, and sailing & boat trips from the harbour. Davaar island, and the cave painting of the crucifix, is accessible via the dhorlin (shingle bank) at low water.
The area is blessed with numerous sandy beaches including Machrihanish, Westport, Dunaverty, Carskey & Peninver. There are also numerous smaller beaches and coves located within easy driving distance of Campbeltown

Proceed up Main Street past White Hart Hotel on LHS, up Castlehill past
Police Sation on RHS. First right into Smith Drive (opposite Castlehill
Primary School). First left on Smith Drive into Castleacres. 9 Castleacres
is approx 100yds on LHS.
Getting There by Car
Follow A83 into Campbeltown down Longrow to the junction of Main Street
in the town center Turn right at the junction up Main Street. Follow instructions
as per TIC.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Campbeltown Airport follow signs for Campbeltown, right onto the
Moss road and then left at the junction of the Campbeltown/Machrihanish
road. Follow road into Campbeltown and take the second right into Smith
Drive. Continue on Smith Drive to the junction with Castleacres and straight
through into Castleacres. 9 Castleacres is approx 100yds on LHS.
