One hour's drive north of Inverness, the Royal Marine Hotel is within walking distance of the charming Highland village of Brora. Within short driving distances, you can visit the Clynelish Single Malt Distillery, the spectacular Dunrobin Castle and Gardens, the Orcadian Stone Company and the Whaligoe Steps and much more!

Accommodation - From luxurious, private suites for Honeymooners to airy spacious rooms for large golf parties, the Royal Marine can accommodate anyone wishing to accept our hospitality and enjoy the relaxation of our special location. We have 21 bedrooms within the hotel, plus 24 comtemporary self-catering apartments to suit all needs.
We have 21 bedrooms available all year round at the Royal Marine Hotel.

The Royal Marine Hotel has a mix of standard, classic and master bedrooms, many of which are enhanced by period furniture and have been tastefully decorated in rich classic colours and warm textures. There is also a stunning four poster suite - perfect to make your honeymoon unique.

We also have two large family rooms which have a super kingsize bed and a double sofa bed.

Ground floor rooms are available one of which is a disabled room especially designed with a bathroom for wheelchair users. Disabled access is available throughout hotel, with chair lifts
and ramps.

All bedrooms are ensuite with penhaligon toiletries, writing desk with good lighting, plasma colour TV with teletext, radio alarm clock, direct dial telephone, wi-fi, hairdryer, safety deposit box, iron and ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities.

Rooms are available from 2.00 p.m. on the day of arrival
Guests are requested to depart their rooms by 11.00 a.m.

Eating In - Our food, based around fresh. local produce, is rated highly. We offer three fine restaurants - you can enjoy informal dining in the Garden Room, or for special ocasions, try the Bistro Bar or Lorimer's Restaurant. Whichever you choose, you'll sit down to delicious, freshly cooked dishes created by our talented chef and his team.

Head Chef Steven Oglesby, supported by his team, have developed outstanding menus of seasonal dishes using the finest local produce. Their exquisite menu will excite and delight food lovers and can be best described as modern Scottish cuisine with a strong highland influence.

With a choice of three restaurants within the hotel. Food is available all day and gives you the dining opportunities of eating informally in the Garden Room or The Bistro or the option to experience theBrora Hotels
a la carte menu in Lorimers.

The Leisure Club at the Royal Marine Hotel is open from 7:30am until 9:30pm and features a swimming pool, children's pool Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym.

The hotel has a full range of tourism leaflets and information and the staff will be happy to assist in making reservations or advising on any planned trips or special arrangements.

Golf can be booked through the hotel on any of the local courses, including Brora's own 18-hole links course, or neighbouring Golspie, Tain or Royal Dornoch.

The hotel has boats to hire for fly fishing on Loch Brora (£40 per day) and mountain bikes (£15 per day.)

Getting to the Royal Marine Hotel
From Dornoch Tourist Information Centre, travel 15 miles North on A9. On entering Brora drive to Clock Tower cross bridge and turn immediately right. This is Golf Road. Continue along this road. The hotel is the last building on the left.
