Heathpark House Apartments Accommodation
Our Victorian villa stands in two acres of wooded gardens with ample private, off road parking available. There is a patio area for use by our guests and a barbecue available for those guests renting our self-catering apartment. Our accommodation comprises of one king and two superking size double/twin rooms; they are the Wilman, the Sanderson and the Ashley.
Each room has quality furniture and bedding, is extremely spacious and individually decorated with designer soft furnishings and wallcoverings.
Remote controlled colour TV with freeview, clock radio, trouser press, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries come as standard. A hospitality tray is provided with bottled water, a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.
All the rooms are centrally heated but for those chillier evenings additional heaters, blankets and hot water bottles are made available.
The Ashley can be either a superking double or twin room with en-suite shower room.This has east and west facing views

The Sanderson an en-suite twin/superking size bedded room with power shower.
Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the south facing garden. Our delicious breakfasts give an excellent start to the day and our menu changes on a daily basis. A vegetarian option is always available. Please just let us know in advance of any special requirements.
Self catering apartment
Apartment comprises:
- Fully equipped kitchen: Electric hob and oven, dishwasher,
washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave. All cooking utensils, crockery,
cutlery and glassware supplied.
- Bathroom: With electric shower over bath and shaver socket. All towels
supplied.
- Lounge: Colour TV with Freeview, CD and DVD player.
- Bedroom: Double bedded room with ample storage space. All bed linen
is included and in the case of stays longer than seven days fresh bedding
and towels will be supplied at the end of each week.
- Heating: The apartment is gas centrally heated throughout but also has
an electric fire in the lounge area.
- Garden: The apartment is attached to the main house but has its own
private entrance and parking area. Guests are invited to make use of the
patio area and garden if they so wish.
Places to Visit within an hour's drive:
Blairgowrie is set in the Strathmore Valley and is the ideal
base for touring the Angus Glens, Glen Isla, Glen Clova, and Glen Prosen.
Our home is perfectly situated for the Castle Trail; Scone Palace on route to Royal Deeside, Balmoral, Glamis Castle (birthplace of the late Queen Mother) and Blair Atholl.
There are over sixty golf courses within one hours drive including Rosemount, Alyth, Strathmore, Glenisla, Carnoustie, Downfield, Piperdam, Birnam, Kirriemuir and Forfar.
Walk The Cateran Trail; visit Loch of the Lowes RSPB Centre; visit Kirriemuir birthplace of JM Barrie (author of Peter Pan), and Kinnordy RSPB; Dunkeld (Beatrix Potter exhibition); Pitlochry, and Crieff.
Please feel free to make use of this superb room where from maps and brochures suppled you can plan your itinerary for the following day. Alternatively just curl up with a good book in front of a roaring fire which is lit on cooler evenings.
The grounds at Heathpark are laid mainly to lawn with a patio area, this is a lovely spot to enjoy the garden with its colourful shrubs and bushes. Red squirrels, the occasional peacock plus a variety of birds appear regularly so why not take a moment to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
Blairgowrie bed and breakfast accommodation, Rosemount close to Perth and Dundee. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen only an hour and a half away by car. Ideally situated for golfing, walking, angling, fishing and shooting in central Perthshire. Private off road parking.

The house is ideally situated for trips to Glenshee, Balmoral and the Angus Glens with the cities of Dundee and Perth 30 minutes away by car.

The house is conveniently located on the outskirts of Blairgowrie, three quarters of a mile from the centre of town on the A923 and has been on this site since 1840. We have in our possession a copy of the diary extracts from one of its original occupants Jessie Thain, the first entry being in December 1843! Jessie was the fiance of Robert Murray McCheyne a well respected evangelical preacher of the period.
Directions:
From Edinburgh: Follow signs for A90 Forth Road Bridge.
Cross onto M90 and proceed towards Perth. At junction 10 follow the signs
for A93 to Perth. Continue on A93 to Blairgowrie. In Blairgowrie town
centre follow signs for A923 to Dundee and Coupar Angus. Heathpark House
is well signed on the right hand side of the A923 about ¾ mile
from Blairgowrie town centre.
From Perth: Follow signs for A93 to Blairgowrie. In Blairgowrie town centre follow signs for A923 to Dundee and Coupar Angus. Heathpark House is well signed on the right hand side of the A923 about ¾ mile from Blairgowrie town centre.
From Dundee: Follow signs for A923 to Coupar Angus. At Coupar Angus continue on A923 towards Blairgowrie. On entering Rosemount continue for about ¾ mile and Heathpark House is well signed on the left hand side of the road immediately after the turning to Woodlands Park.
From Aberdeen: Follow the A90 to Forfar. Turn right onto the A94 to Coupar Angus. At Coupar Angus turn right at the first roundabout onto the A923 Blairgowrie road. On entering Rosemount continue for about ¾ mile and Heathpark House is well signed on the left hand side of the road immediately after the turning to Woodlands Park.
From A9 North: Having passed through Pitlochry continue
for about 8 miles and look for the signs for A923 to Dunkeld. Turn left
onto the A923 and continue through Dunkeld staying on the A923 to Blairgowrie.
In Blairgowrie town centre follow the signs for A923 to Dundee and Coupar
Angus. Heathpark House is well signed on the right hand side of the A923
about ¾ mile from Blairgowrie town centre.
