Gilmore House Accommodation
The Bedrooms:
We offer three comfortable individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, with
all modern conveniences. The bedrooms range from a double with a king
size bed, a twin with two single beds, and our other double with a superking
bed.
Two of the rooms have views to the countryside and hills beyond and the third overlooks the charming front garden.
Sorry, we do not have single bedrooms, single occupancy is available
in our twin or king double, dependant on availability.

Bed Sizes:
A king sized bed is larger than a standard double.
A twin is two single beds.
A superking is between a king and an emperor.
*Unfortunately we do not have ground floor rooms, all bedrooms are on
first floor level*

This delightful, traditional, detached, late Victorian home dates from
1899. The deceptively spacious house is decorated in rich warm fabrics
and furnishings with original pitch pine doors and staircase, we are sure
you will enjoy the relaxed, comfy, informal, homely and warm ambience.
As well as three en-suite bedrooms, we have not one but two delightful
lounges for our guests exclusive use.
The downstairs lounge has a traditional Scottish feel, with a huge conservatory
style window. You can curl up on the comfy sofas, read a book or watch
television.
Halfway up the stairs is the sun lounge, decorated in
cool blue colours.
This lounge has fantastic views and is a very popular sitting area with
our guests.
The sun streams into this room from late morning to sunset.
There are board games and a bountiful supply of information for you to
plan your day at your leisure.
