from Blair Atholl, this charming 2-storey property was originally the
village post office.
Completely re-furbished with quality furnishings, fittings and tasteful décor, great attention has been paid to detail, giving a lovely welcoming atmosphere. There is access from the sloping garden to both levels and the lounge enjoys magnificent views to the surrounding hills.
The mature grounds include a summer house and garden furniture.
The Old Post Office Accommodation
On the ground floor there is 1 double (king-size bed) and 1 twin bedroom suitable for children, and a shower room. On the first floor, 1 double (king-size bed) bedroom. A cot and high chair are available.
Also on the first floor, the open plan lounge and dining room has an open fire, Freesat TV, DVD and CD player. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and electric hob and oven.
The heating is all electric throughout, easily controlled. There is also an extra separate WC on this floor. Bed linen and towels supplied and electricity is included. There is parking for up to three cars. In fact everything you need to make your stay more enjoyable!
The Cottage lies amongst some of the prettiest countryside in Scotland and is surrounded by unspoiled highland scenery with wide open views.

Blair Castle, clan seat of the Duke of Atholl, which with its gardens,
is open to the public.
5 miles south the pretty Victorian resort of Pitlochry has the world famous Festival Theatre, Loch Faskally, 2 distillery visitor centres and a challenging golf course.
Perthshire offers many activities including walking, climbing, cycling, sailing, water sports, riding, off road driving and winter sports.

Take A9 from Pitlochry, after 5 miles take B8079 towards Blair Atholl,
before bridge over River Tilt turn right into minor road, follow for half
mile and take right fork, after quarter mile turn left over bridge, property
is facing you.
Getting There by Car:
Take A9 northbound, take B8079 towards Blair Atholl, before bridge over
River Tilt turn right into minor road, follow for half mile and take right
fork, after quarter mile turn left over bridge, property is facing you.
Getting There by Railway:
From Pitlochry rail station, take A9 from Pitlochry, after 5 miles take
B8079 towards Blair Atholl, before bridge over River Tilt turn right into
minor road, follow for half mile and take right fork, after quarter mile
turn left over bridge, property is facing you.
From Blair Atholl station turn right onto B8079 and turn left immediately over bridge over River Tilt. Follow minor road for half mile and take right fork, after quarter mile turn left over bridge, property is facing you.
