Blair Atholl Hotels One of the best-equipped Caravan Parks in Scotland and only 7 miles from the market town of Pitlochry, the Blair Castle site features spectacular mountain scenery, combined with five-star visitor facilities, first-class accommodation, and thoughtfully placed amenities.

There is a 40 mile network of way-marked trails to explore and opportunities to go fishing, pony trekking, on land rover safari or to take a vintage tractor and trailer ride are close by.

There are over 200 hard standing and grass pitches available and the park welcomes motorhomes, touring caravans and campers. Most of the pitches can accommodate awnings and many are supplied with mains services.

Caravan Holiday Homes
Sit back and relax in a caravan holiday home surrounded by the beautiful Highland Perthshire landscape.

Our two-bedroom and three-bedroom caravan holiday homes are an excellent choice for both couples and families. Each holds the prestigious Thistle Award for quality and features all the modern conveniences you would expect in a home away from home.

Situated on Blair Castle Caravan Park, our self-catering holiday homes allow you to enjoy all the amenities you would associate with a five star park including a children's play area, internet gallery, launderette and general store but without the need to bring along your own tent, motorhome or touring caravan.

The kitchens are fully equipped with gas cookers, microwaves, fridges with freezer compartments, crockery and cutlery. To help you settle in after your journey here, a welcome tray of tea and coffee will be laid out for your arrival.

The lounge area features sofa-style seating and a television with DVD player. Our two-bedroom caravan holiday homes can accommodate up to four people, while our three-bedroom can comfortably accommodate up to four adults and two children.

Additional Facilities:
· A beautiful location situated along the banks of the River Tilt and beside the avenue to Blair Castle, showcasing some of the finest scenery Scotland has to offer.
· A veranda with garden furniture or a patio area with picnic tables and benches.
Short breaks available Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday (except July and August). Weekly breaks are available from Saturday to Saturday.
· Duvets, linen and pillows are provided - just bring your own towels.
· Travel cots/cot sides available free of charge.

Pet Policy
Dogs are welcome, but this is strictly by prior arrangement only and is subject to suitable caravans being available.

Dogs must be supervised AT ALL TIMES on the Caravan Park. This rule will be strictly enforced.

A maximum of two dogs can be accommodated at specific caravan holiday homes. If you plan to bring a dog, please specify this when enquiring about availability or when making a booking. Dog rates applicable.

Dogs are permitted on the Park provided that they are kept on SHORT leads. They must not be allowed to soil the ground within the Park - accidents must be cleaned up immediately. Dogs can be exercised on the extensive walks surrounding the park.

Activities and Attractions
Animal lovers will enjoy regular visits from native red squirrels, which can often be seen throughout the park. All park guests also receive discounted entry to Blair Castle.

Other regional attractions include retail emporium The House of Bruar, the Highland Wildlife Park, the Highland Folk Museum, Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Edradour and Bells Blair Athol distilleries, Cairngorm Mountain's funicular railway, Queens View and the historic towns of Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and Dunkeld.

Walkers and cyclists need only go a short distance to find themselves on our 40-mile network of way-marked trails. There are routes to suit walkers of every ability, from the gentle 1-mile Red Squirrel Trail to the more taxing 10-mile Glen Tilt trail. Experienced Hill-walkers will also find Atholl Estates' seven Munros a rewarding challenge.

The magnificent Blair Castle and gardens are just a short walk away from our tourer and motorhome site.

Blair Castle Trekking Centre offers everyone - from beginners to experienced riders - the chance to explore Atholl Estates on the back of a traditional Highland pony.

Keen fishermen can arrange a day on one of our renowned salmon rivers or three hill lochs (in season).

DIRECTIONS
By Road:
Blair Castle Caravan Park is just off the main A9 road at Blair Atholl in Highland Perthshire between Perth and Inverness. It is some 35 miles (56km) north of Perth.

Travelling by road, take the turn signposted to Blair Atholl some 7 miles north of Pitlochry. Blair Castle Caravan Park is well sign-posted throughout Blair Atholl.

From Inverness:
Take the A9 all the way south to Blair Atholl. Blair Castle Caravan Park is well sign-posted throughout Blair Atholl.

From Glasgow:
Take the A/M80 north to Stirling, remembering to bypass the city and follow the signs for Perth then Inverness which will take you on to the A9 north. Take the turn signposted to Blair Atholl some 7 miles north of Pitlochry. Blair Castle Caravan Park is well sign-posted throughout Blair Atholl.

From Edinburgh:
Take the M90 to Perth outskirts where you will follow the signs for and join the A9 north to Inverness. Bypass Pitlochry and proceed as above.

From Aberdeen:
The more scenic route is the A93 road via Ballater, Braemar and Glenshee to the A924 turn-off at Bridge of Cally, for Kirkmichael then head west to Pitlochry.

Look out at Pitlochry for the signs for the A9 north to Blair Atholl (7 miles) The quickest route from Aberdeen is to come south on the A90 via Forfar, then Coupar Angus and Dunkeld.

From Dundee:
Take the A90 to the outskirts of Perth then proceed as for Edinburgh above.

Efficiency – We aim to install energy efficient lighting and appliances wherever possible within the park’s facilities.

Waste & Recycling – We aim to minimize litter onsite and are committed to recycling as much as possible. We would ask all of our guests to respect this and dispose of their waste to the appropriate waste bins provided.

We are continually investigating measures which reduce the consumption of raw materials (especially water, electricity, oil and gas).

We provide appropriate training to our employees to enable them to implement and adhere to this environmental policy.

We will ensure that we continue to meet and exceed all relevant and current environmental legislation regarding our business operations.
