Banchory HotelsMapleview is located in a peaceful rural location in Royal Deeside within driving distance of various castles, golf courses, walks etc.

Mapleview is approximately a twenty minute drive from Banchory and no more than fifteen minutes from Alford.

Mapleview Accommodation

We have a total of two double Rooms, both of which are en-suite. We also have a Twin/Family room which contains one double bed and two single beds. This room is also en-suite.

- Mapleview is a modern bungalow and all rooms are en suite, have TV's, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers etc.
- Internet access is available. There is ample off road parking.
- The garden is available for guests to sit out and enjoy the surroundings. A warm welcome awaits.

Location:
From Banchory take the A980 at all times, this road takes you through the village of Torphins then on to Lumphanan.
Take a right turn into the village of Lumphanan, still on the A980 following signs for Craigievar Castle or Alford and continue on this road going uphill for 3 miles until you come to a junction.

At this junction take a right turn then first left still following signs for Alford and we are the first house on the right hand side.

From Alford take the A980 and follow this road all the way, past the road entrance for Craigievar Castle and we are approx two miles past the Castle entrance on the left hand side of the road.

From Aberdeen we are beside the junction where the B9119 and the A980 cross over heading towards Alford

- Deeside Activity Park.
- Located near Dess about 5 miles from our Bed and Breakfast. Activities include Quad Biking, Kart Racing and Archery.
- Balmoral Castle.
- Crathes Castle
- Fishing.
- The nearby River Dee provides some of the best salmon fishing in Scotland Grampian Transport Museum.
- Craigievar Castle.
Craigievar is an iconic tower house, amongst the best preserved and the most loved in Scotland.
- Lumphanan Golf Course.
A challenging and scenic 9 hole golf course located in the nearby village of Lumphanan, around 3 miles from our location.
