10 minutes walk will bring you to the shore where there is a local corner
shop, which provides groceries, fresh bread etc. and is perfect for your
morning rolls and paper.
Alternatively several supermarkets are a short drive away.

For our overseas visitors, Glasgow Prestwick Airport is but a short journey
away, and Glasgow International is only 3/4 of an hour from Ayr.
By Train from Glasgow:
Trains leave Glasgow Central station every 30 minutes and the journey
time is about 50 minutes.
By air landing at Glasgow (BA, BMI, Easyjet) take the
bus or taxi to Paisley Station where the train from Glasgow to Ayr passes
through every 30 minutes.
By air landing at Prestwick (RyanAir). There is a direct train link from
the airport which will take you into Ayr station. Trains stop at Paisley
every 30 minutes.
From Ayr train station the house is a 10 min taxi journey.
