Miller House is a large Victorian bed & breakfast which is situated on Miller road in Ayr's town centre, it is a spacious contemporary accommodation with private parking.

Miller House Accommodation

Miller House is a grand Victorian guest house boasting 7 contemporary designed letting rooms.

We have a variety of rooms available including twins, doubles, triples and family.
Single rooms are twins or doubles sold at a reduced rate.
All our rooms have en-suite and have there own tea/coffee making facilities, digital tv and Wifi. There is a private guest entrance to the rear of the house for your convenience.

One of our family rooms has a super king bed, a single bed and a optional stow away bed so this room can sleep up to 4.
We also have a loft conversion which is self contained with its own lounge, separate bedroom with 2 double beds in it and a bathroom. You can opt to have a single bed in the bedroom or the lounge so the suite can sleep up to 5 people.
On the ground floor is a room which has its own entrance and a separate bath and shower. This room is suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

There are a further 4 rooms on the first floor which can be twins or doubles with super king zip and link beds.
Recently refurbished to a very high standard. 6 foot beds in most rooms. WI-FI & LCD TV's.

Local Attractions:
The preferred destination for people who want to take in the local historic sites such as Alloway (Rabbie Burns birthplace) and Culzean Castle.
Ayr also has good transport connections to Arran, Glasgow and Edinburgh which are popular day-trips.

Golf is extremely popular in the area and we have many courses the best known being Royal Troon and Turnberry. We are a member of Golf South Ayrshire who run the municipal courses which we can book for you at a discounted price.

We have free private off-street parking behind the guest house so you can forget about parking problems for the duration of your stay at Miller House. We also have a private guest entrance to the rear of the B&B.

We often accommodate large parties for weddings or sporting events such as golf and we will try to make your stay as enjoyable an relaxing as possible.
With our two Guest Houses we can cater for all your Golf requirements.

Ayrshire is the home of a wide range of attractions, activities and events. It is the home of over 30 golf courses including the famous Turnberry, Royal Troon and Old Prestwick. Ayr is also the home of Scottish Bowling Association clubs. Ayr stages the Scottish National Championship Bowling event

Golf South Ayrshire:
South Ayrshire is often referred to as Scotland’s golf coast. This stunning coastline boasts the inaugural home of The Open Championship, two out of five current Scottish Open venues and a range of public courses each boasting their own unique character.

Ayr Racecourse:
Ayr Racecourse is Scotland's Premier Racecourse, home to the Coral Scottish Grand National in April, and the William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup Festival in September. As a dual purpose track, holding both National Hunt and Flat fixtures.

Burns National Heritage Park:
Work has begun on site in Alloway, but visitors to the Burns National Heritage Park can still visit the Cottage, Tam O’ Shanter Experience, Auld Kirk, Brigg o’ Doon, Burns Monument and beautiful memorial gardens. The new museum will be open by Summer 2010. The world’s most significant Burns collection will also continue to be displayed in the current museum and the historic Burns Monument and beautiful commemorative gardens are a fitting tribute to the life of Scotland ’s National Bard.

Heads of Ayr Farm Park:
At Heads of Ayr Farm Park - whatever the weather - you'll find plenty to see and do, with activities for all ages. We've almost 50 different types of animal, each with its own particular charm. Meet them, touch them, feed them! And you could play all day at our farm park. It's packed with fantastic activities like indoor and outdoor play areas, an aerial runway, thrilling ringo sledging, tunnel land and the combine castle.

Kidz Play:
Kid'z Play is a purpose built jungle theme indoor play centre for children. Let your child's imagination run riot on the snake slides, tube slides, activity towers, ball pool and soft play area for toddlers. Equipment that lets your child play in safety while you watch from the comfort of our cafe.

Culzean Castle:
Culzean is one of Scotland's best loved Castles, offering something for everyone to enjoy. Situated on the South Ayrshire coast, just off the A719, Culzean Castle is located 12 miles south of Ayr and 4 miles west of Maybole.

For Children:
There are many activities for children in Ayr.

Miller House is located between Ayr Railway Stations and Ayr beach where you can a stroll along the promenade enjoying an ice cream or play on the sand and in the water.

The esplanade located south of Ayr harbour has a well equipped and recently refurbished children's play area. There is a range of free activities for visitors to enjoy. This is located right next to Ayr beach which is predominately sand.
From picnics and sand castles to paddling, collecting shells and playing games, you can always find something to do.

Adjacent to play area and beach is the newly refurbished Pavilion which houses the Pirate Pete's indoor soft play. There is also a putting green and inflatable castles available in the summer months.

Pirate Pete’s - a soft play area down near Ayr beach where parents can enjoy tea coffee and a snack while the kid’s play.

Animal Farm - Heads of Ayr - where there are over 50 different kinds of animals to see, trampolines, quad bikes and much more fun and games to play.
