It has a spacious lounge/dining room with beautiful river views. Access is via the lift or stairs. Dedicated parking is right beside.
Beautifully furnished in maritime themes, it has Italian leather suites, bistro-style dining area and Gabbeh rugs on wooden floors in the public rooms.
The well equipped kitchen has professional cookware, co-ordinated tableware, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave and gas cooker. Domestic help by prior arrangement - fee charged.

bars, shops, superb sports centre, tennis courts and a beautiful sandy
bathing beach.

Getting there from the Information Centre:
By foot turn left and immed. left to Cathcart St. Turn right on Fort St
towards river. At river turn left down South harbour St. Harbour Pointe
is 1st new 5-storey building on right. By car - Continue along Sandgate,
at roundabout take last exit into Fort St continue to riverside turn left
down South Harbour St. Harbour Pointe is 1st 5-storey building on right.
Getting There by Railway
Exit on town centre side. Turn right along Smith Street on left to join
High Street. Go to foot of High Street, cross road at pedestrian crossing
and walk through Loudoun Hall courtyard to Riverside. Walk down South
Harbour Street towards sea. Harbour Pointe is1st 5 storey building on
right hand side.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Exit airport in southerly direction towards Prestwick & Ayr. Pass
through Prestwick & continue to Ayr via Newton on Ayr. Continue on
Dual carriageway (1000yrds) to roundabout, police station on right take
last exit. At T-junction left at lights. Pass over bridge (see Harbour
Pointe downriver to right) into Sandgate. Follow 1-way system to roundabout,
take last exit, follow back to river along Fort Street, turn left on to
South Harbour Street. Harbour Pointe is 1st 5-storey building on right
Getting There by Ferry
TROON A79 to Ayr. Right at roundabout, police stn right. Left at lights
to Sandgate. Roundabout last exit. Follow back to river, left to South
Harbour St. 1st 5-storey building on right. STRANRAER North on A77/A70
to Ayr. Left at roundabout, station ahead. Right down Parkhouse St. T-junction
right to Beresford Ter, left down Miller Rd. At T-junction right along
Alloway Pl. Straight on at lights, through roundabout to Fort St. At river
left down South Harbour St. 1st 5-storey block on right.
Glasgow is 45 minutes away and Edinburgh 2 hours.
River and beach location:
The apartment is located on the bank of the River Ayr which is a fascinating
tidal estuary and is just 3 minutes walk along the promenade to the sea
and a mile long golden sandy beach.
Swimming and bathing are safe for all ages.
The Cytadel sports centre is just across the road with a swimming pool
and sports facilities.
