This fine example of a Victorian terraced house in the charming Queen's Terrace, Ayr has received comprehensive refurbishment, and offers to guests well-appointed accommodation, excellent service and appetising breakfasts.

Our well-established Bed and Breakfast is located only a few metres from Ayr's fine beach and esplanade.

Though close to the beach, Ayr town centre is a mere five minute stroll away from Craig Holm.

Good bars, restaurants and sports and entertainment facilities are readily found locally.

Graigholm Guest House Accommodation

Each guest room has been refurbished in mid 2010 to provide comfortable, tasteful rooms with wifi connectivity, flat screen TVs and en-suite facilities.

The upgraded décor and furnishings enhance our delightful and pristine accommodation, and three of our rooms enjoy uninterrupted sea views across the Clyde to the Island of Arran.
We are able to offer private parking to our guests, and you are assured of a warm and attentive welcome.

Craig Holm Facilities

Craig Holm Bed and Breakfast offers a variety of facilities for your convenience and enjoyment. Throughout the guest house we have Free Broadband Wi-Fi Internet Access available to all guests.

We provide you with a free residents parking permit to allow guests to park directly outside the front door of the guest house for your convenience and we have a secure area for bikes and motorcycles as required.

Food/Dining:
Our bright dining room has a Charles Rennie Mackintosh themed style with artwork specially commissioned for the room and hosts a Book Exchange for guests to off load finished books and pick up a fresh read during their stay or for their onward journey.

Breakfast is normally served between the hours of 08.00 - 09.00.

Breakfast consists of:
- A wide selection of cereals, fruits and yogurts; buffet style
- followed by an optional hot breakfast.
Breakfast is also served with Tea/Coffee, Orange Juice & hot white or wholemeal Toast

We happily cater for Vegetarian diets and if you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements please let us know we will try our best to cater for needs as best as we can.
Healthy Options can also be available such as skimmed milk, low fat spread & herbal/fruit teas.

Local Dining:
We are happy to assist you with finding suitable restaurants to dine in during your stay. We can also make reservations for you and arrange a taxi for you as required.

Hair & Beauty:
We have a hairdresser and beautician who will happily come along to the guest house and pamper you in style or arrange an appointment for you at one of the many local salons.

To treat someone special or to celebrate in style; we can arrange flowers, champagne, wine or chocolates for guests arrival, please contact us prior to arrival date to discuss your individual requirements

Culzean Castle & Country Park - 13.9 miles / 22.4 Km
- The Kennedy Family is one of Scotland's oldest families and trace ancestry to Robert the Bruce. Culzean Castle was their principal seat from 1759, the castle and its landscape reflecting their status and aspirations. Over the centuries, the Kennedys transformed a medieval tower house, built to protect its inhabitants during dangerous times, into one of the grandest country houses in Ayrshire.

For children, or those young at heart there is a large outdoor play ground and an fantastic Indoor Play Centre called Pirate Pete's, a local swimming pool, Ten Pin Bowling and a cinema.

Glasgow International Airport is located only 37.3 miles / 60.0 Km from the guest house. The airport is situated to the west of Glasgow City and is now connected by motorway all the way to Ayrshire.
Rail
The local Rail station is AYR. This is around 10-15 minutes walk from the Craig Holm Guest House

There is a train service to Glasgow every 30 minutes and good rails links across Ayrshire from this station.

Onward to Largs Ferry Terminal ; just 31.3 miles/50.4 Km from the guest house you can catch the ferry to Millport/ Isle of Cumbrae.
