Aviemore HotelsSelf catering in the Heart of the Highlands. The park is situated on a bank of the River Spey with views of the Cairngorm Mountains but despite its tranquil setting is only a short walk from the centre of Aviemore.

They offer a range of warm, well equipped self-catering chalets, cabins and caravans, including a caravan modified for disabled person use. The two and three bedroom units can sleep from 4 to 8 but couples are offered a reduced rate.

The prices include electricity, gas, linen, towels and use of the heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym.

The park is graded with three stars by the British Holiday and Home Parks Association and chalets, cabins and caravans have individual Scottish Tourist Board grades of from one to three stars. They best caravans are Thistle graded whilst their standard and budget vans are priced more modestly for those on a smaller budget.

If you want a break from catering for yourself a good choice of restaurants, pubs and hotels provide a variety of cuisine at a price to suite a wide range of budgets and tastes.

Families, couples or groups will find this an ideal location for a wide range of activities including : bird watching, cycling, fishing, golfing, hill walking, horse riding, mountain sports, off-road driving, water sport. The Cairngorm Mountains, Cairngorm Reindeer herd, Loch Garten Ospreys, Landmark Heritage Centre, Strathspey Steam Railway and the irresistible Whisky Trail are all within easy reach.

Only slightly further afield you will find Culloden Moor, the site of the Jacobites' last battle with the English, Inverness, the capital of the Highlands and Loch Ness, the home of the famously elusive Nessie.

From tourist information centre take B9152 south to junction with B970 at BP Garage. Take B970 and first left (Dalfaber Road and signposted Speyside Leisure Park). Take next left at sign for Speyside Leisure Park and drive through tunnel to reception on the right.
