Cairn Eilrig, which means Cairn (hill) of the Deer Walk, is wonderfully located in the Glenmore Forest Park (Forestry Commission) in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, just behind the Reindeer Centre in Glenmore.

Cairn Eilrig is an ideal spot and centrally located so you may wish to stay for a few days and explore the great activities and attractions the Highlands have to offer. Inverness is only 40 minutes away - Loch Ness, Distilleries, Castles.

Cairn Eilrig Accommodation

All rooms face south with stunning views to Loch Morlich and the mountains including Cairn Eilrig. There is one twin and one double/family room (sorry no en suites but shared bathroom with shower and second toilet situated opposite).Tea/coffee and biscuits available for you to help yourselves in the Conservatory or to enjoy in the cosy sitting room where in the winter there is an open fire.All guests are welcome to use the free Wi FI connection.

Location:
Getting there from the Information Centre
From the Aviemore Tourist Information Centre, go south and take first left B907 to Glenmore. Follow for 6 miles and take first left after the forest camp site. Keep hard left up the steep hill behind the reindeer centre bungalow. The first house is Cairn Eilrig.
Getting There by Railway
If no bus available from Aviemore Railway Station, you would need to take a taxi as Cairn Eilrig is situated 7 miles from the station.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness Airport, take the road to Inverness and follow A9 south to Aviemore.
