Avielochan is a special place in the Cairngorms National Park where you will experience peace and tranquility and find yourself amidst some of the best scenery in Scotland.
The small loch regularly attracts Ospreys in the Spring and Summer months. Golden Eye, Coot and Slavonian Grebe can all be spotted here and the local area is blessed with an abundance of wildlife including Red Squirrel, Red and Roe Deer, Black Grouse and Capercaillie to name just a few.
Unwind, relax and enjoy the rural location whilst being within easy reach of shops, restaurants, sports and leisure facilities at the nearby towns and villages.

This spacious area has an electric fire, comfortable seating and a colour
TV. KITCHEN The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and an electric fridge

room, each has an electric convector heater and some storage. BATHROOM

The loch is home to many birds including Slavonian Grebe, Golden Eye and
Dipper and regularly attracts Ospreys in the spring and summer months.
It's a perfect spot for anyone interested in wildlife with great photographic
opportunities. There is so much one can do in Aviemore.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Aviemore Tourist Information Centre take road northwards
through village towards Carrbridge/Boat of Garten. Avielochan Farm is
approximately 3 miles.
Getting There by Railway
From Aviemore Railway Station turn right and follow road north
out of village. Avielochan Farm is approximately 3 miles, towards Carrbridge/Boat
Of Garten.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness Airport, take A9 south towards Aviemore. Avielochan
Farm is located between the villages of Aviemore and Carrbridge.
