partridge, rabbit, hare, squirrels, occasional roe deer and many species

The cottage is approached along a drive guarded on both sides by a line
of mature trees.
The two bedrooms, one double and one twin, that sleep four, enjoy uninterrupted
views over miles of beautiful Perthshire countryside; the Strathearn valley
and on to the rolling hills beyond.
Each season offers an ever changing vista of colours, shades and shadows.

Golf - Gleneagles Golf Resort (Home of the Ryder Cup 2014). Auchterarder
Golf Club plus many other fine courses are within easy reach. The must
see for all golfers, St Andrews, where it all started is but one hour
from Kirktonlees cottage.
Walking - There are many beautiful walks in and around Auchterarder and
nearby towns and villages.
Historic Visits - The ancient towns of Perth and Stirling (with it's Castle),
are easily reached. Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, steeped in history
and architecture is a one hour drive.
Watersport - Water skiing on Loch Earn
Parachuting - at Strathallan (1 mile)
Fishing - On river and loch. The Rivers Tay, Earn and Almond are all within
easy reach.
Shooting - There are opportunities for game shooting and stalking within
reach of the cottage.
