Mount View Caravan Park is a five minute walk from the quaint village of Abington. The village is located on the Clyde Valley tourist route and offers a local shop to cater for most needs and a pub for those special occasions or just a quiet drink.The outlook down the Clyde Valley is beautiful.

Holiday homes for hire
Our holiday Homes are all under 3 years old. These are 35x12ft quality
caravans with one double bedroom and one twin bedded room they are all
gas central heated and double glazed. The lounge and dining area have
comfortable seating with gas fire, TV/DVD and video.
The kitchens are fully equipped with microwave, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment and pots, pans, cutlery, tea towels and oven gloves.
The shower rooms are fully equipped with shower room, w.c. and wash basin. Towels are provided. The bedrooms are comfortable and have fitted cupboards and wardrobes. Quilts, pillows and bed linen are provided.
Tourers
At Mount View all the Touring pitches are hard standing, level and spacious,
making them suitable for motor homes and trailer tents as well as touring
caravans. All the pitches have electric and aerial hook up. The pitches
are all surrounded by generous grassy areas, with trees breaking up the
space and enjoy views of the Clyde Valley and surrounding hills.
There are two grass sections designated for tents with the use of a picnic bench. The centrally heated toilet block is central to the Park, with a disabled/family room, kitchen area, laundry and chemical emptying facility.

Mount View Caravan Park is ideally situated for cycling and walking. The
surrounding countryside is unspoilt and is ideal for bird and wildlife
watching.
Fishing is available on the River Clyde. Fishing lakes are also nearby in Moffat & Biggar. Golf can be played at nearby Leadhills.

DIRECTIONS
From the North:
Approach on the A702 or exit the M74 motorway at Junction 13, following
the A702 SOUTH towards Abington. Once in the village turn LEFT into Station
Road just past the bank, proceed over the river and railway, Mount View
is 20 yards on your right.
From the South:
Exit on the M74, Junction 14, following signs for Edinburgh. Turn LEFT
at the T junction onto the A702 towards Abington. Once in the Village
turn RIGHT into Station Road just before the bank, proceed over the river
and railway, Mount View is 20 yards on your right.
