Sun lovers can just relax on the beach, around the swimming pool or take advantage of the roof top deck, where the views overlooking the surrounding islands are stunning. Be there for a sunrise you will never forget.
The energetic people can play volleyball on the beach, or darts and billiards in the beach front bar, while watching satellite TV. For the adventure type, take an island hopping boat trip and swim and snorkel from secluded beaches.
How to Get there?
Bantayan Island is located in the North-West of the main island of Cebu.
You can reach the international airport of Cebu (Mactan) from Manila and many other national and international airports including Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific), Singapore (Singapore Airlines and Silk air) Qatar (Qatar Airways). Cebu is a major regional hub for connecting flights from Qatar to Cebu from most European countries.
There are direct flights from main land China cities. On your arrival in Cebu there are several ways to travel to Bantayan Island and include:
1. You can travel by taxi direct from the airport to the northern port of Hagnaya (Bogo) then take one of the regular ferries to the Island of Bantayan.
2.Take a taxi from the airport to Cebu Northern Bus Terminal and from there you go by air-conditioned bus to the port of Hagnaya, and then take one or the regular ferries to the Island of Bantayan.
3. A private plane can be chartered from Cebu airport for the 20 minute flight to Bantayan Island but this should be booked 7 days in advance.
