Away on the East Coast

Lamanok Nature & Beach Resort is well tucked away on the east coast of Bohol - Philippines. The place is owned by a Danish Filipino couple, who have also developed and put their ownpersonal touch on the area. The Resort really is a paradise for those who want to relax and have a house and the beach for themselves.

The place has room for 8 people distributed on four 2-person rooms.The resort has an attached host family whom are available through out the day. They take care of preparing food, organize transport and cleaning both clothes and facilities.

The house or villa is in two levels.The house is made of local craftsmen, drawn by the owner himself and , made from natural resources such as palm-roofs (nipa) bamboo ceiling, hard wooden floor and walls in concrete.The furnitures are made by local craftsmen and made of bamboo and hard wood. All this is done in very fine Filipino style.

Directions to Lamanok Beach Resort

If your point of origin is outside the Philippines you can take a flight either from Manila or Cebu before you go for a next flight or boat ride to Bohol. A domestic flight from Manila to Tagbilaran flights will take you 1 hour and 15 minutes.Arriving in Tagbilaran Airport you can ride a van or bus going to the hotel which would take 2 hours. Arriving in Anda your going to ride a boat for 20 minutes going to the resort.

The second option is to take a flight from Manila to Cebu which is 45 minutes. After getting out to Cebu airport ride a taxi going to Pier 4 and take a ferry going to Tagbilaran seaport. Fast craft ferries would take one and a half hours while regular ones is four hours. Arriving at Tagbilaran seaport you can ride a van or bus going to the hotel which is just 2 hours. Arriving in Anda your going to ride a boat for 20 minutes going to the resort.
