Laid Out On The Beach Front

A family run resort, opened in 1988 as one of the first established resorts in Siquijor, Philippines. Our long stretch of beach area allows us to cater for large groups of guests. Upon arrival at our resort you will find all of the 7 cottages are individually and spaciously laid out on the beach front and one cottage on the cliff top. Situated on the northern tip of the island in the village Sandugan Islanders Paradise Beach Resort has a beach front of about 160 meters of fine white sand and facing the sunset.

Islanders Paradise Beach Resort for the local children and anyone else who wishes to come. This is held in our house when the beach is busy so not to take away the peace and tranquility of the beach. Our garden is beautifully maintained and surrounded with coconut trees and the natural habitat. Peaceful. Tranquil. Idyllic. Friendly. This is what has been said about our beach.

Things to do

During the day you can just sit, relax, and enjoy the tranquility of Islanders with a good book and a nice refreshing drink of your choice. Or you can swim in the clear and warm water of the Chinese Sea and snorkel around the colorful displays just a few yards in front of your own home.Finish of your day with a romantic stroll along the beach after your evening meal and witness the trees illuminated by the famous fireflies of Sandugan.

A weekly disco is held at the barangay hall which I personally recommend you give it a go. It is a complete eye opener, a highlight of the week for every local resident. Very friendly people are there and welcome whoever you are. Just let our staff know if you wish to experience this and they’ll be happy to take you there.

Another good idea is to hire a bike, tricycle or even a jeepney to explore what the island has to offer. Be adventurous and bike up the hills on its lush terrain and enjoy that spectacular view around the island. Alternatively you can hire a pump boat and tour around the coast. Walking around the beautiful surroundings and get in contact with some of the local people in the barangay (village) will be another great experience. We also boast the best and extensive menu around which covers all types of dietary needs at very affordable prices.You can enjoy a cozy lunch or dinner. The room is clear and you will have a nice time there.

Old Restaurant- You can enjoy some refreshment after taking a bath in the sea or looking forward to having a romantic candlelit dinner with a spectacular view of the sunset in the evening. Our menu covers from local native cuisine (sometimes ingredients just picked fresh from our garden), to some dishes around the world like simple curries, chilli con carne, lasagne, homemade pizza, seafood dishes to name a few to suit every dietary requirements. We also bake our own bread.

Directions to Islanders Paradise Beach

By Air
You can take Manila to Dumaguete or Manila to Cebu flight. From Manila it would take only 1 hour flight to Dumaguete and from there you can take a fast ferry around 40 minutes going to Siquijor. Manila to Cebu flight is less than an hour.From Cebu City 4 to 5 hours by fast ferry via Dumaguete.Take another ferry ride going to Siquijor.

By Land
Jeepneys are the cheapest way to get around but unfortunately there are no fixed schedule and just a few of them are running during all the day. Jeepneys go as soon as their cabin is completely full and this in Siquijor, can take long time. There're two main routes departing from Siquijor going to Lazi and vice versa, one thru San Juan and the other one thru Enrique Villanueva, always following the national road along the coast . You shouldn't pay more than a local because the jeepney drivers are mostly honest and nice people but keep on eye and watch when a filipino pay to the driver. The multicab and tricycles are the most common and easy way to get around the island. Siquijor is plenty of them, especially tricycles, so you don't have to go to any particular place, just go out to the main road and wait. It will take 11 minutes via Luyang Poo Lazi Road.

By Sea
To get the Island there are basically two ways, by sea or by air. Siquijor has 3 seaports and 1 small airport close to Siquijor City. At the moment, the most common and used option is the ferry. There are connections from Cebu,City Cebu island, Dumaguete Negros island or Tagbilaran Bohol islandamong others cities.
