Isis Bungalows is a small, friendly beachfront hotel right in the middle of Alona Beach, whose kilometer stretch of soft white sand is often considered to be the best beach on Panglao Island. It boasts affordable but world-class accommodations. Right by the beach it has a spacious and shady restaurant with a panoramic views of the ocean- a great spot for relaxation.

Alona Beach is famous among divers due to many nearby dive sites, including Alona Beach Sanctuary, the shallow dive spot directly out in front that has many anemones and multi-coloured corals. This is just a five-minute boat ride from the beach, while there are many world-class dive sites a little further down the huge Panglao Reef.

The resort, which opened in 2005, is under Swiss supervision and boasts of affordable but world-class room accommodations and a spacious restaurant with a panoramic view of the sea in a quiet area of the beach.

The resort is located right on the Beach of Alona, a one kilometer stretch of soft white sand considered to be the best beach in Panglao Island.

Bungalows

Isis Bungalows has 8 air-conditioned bungalows and 4 air-conditioned rooms of different capacities, each with its own terrace and a view of the sea. Each bungalow or room has it's own spacious bathroom, hot and cold water, free wireless internet, safe deposit boxes at the reception, cable television,mini bars are also optional in the rooms as well as in the small and middle-sized bungalows.

Directions to Isis Bungalows Resort

If your point of origin is outside the Philippines you can take a flight either from Manila or Cebu before you go for a next flight or boat ride to Bohol. A domestic flight from Manila to Tagbilaran flights will take you 1 hour and 15 minutes.Arriving in Tagbilaran Airport you can ride a van or bus going to the hotel which would take 15 minutes.

The second option is to take a flight from Manila to Cebu which is 45 minutes. After getting out to Cebu airport ride a taxi going to Pier 4 and take a ferry going to Tagbilaran seaport. Fast craft ferries would take one and a half hours while regular ones is four hours. Arriving at Tagbilaran seaport you can ride a van or bus going to the hotel which is just 20 minutes.
