Buco Beach Resort is situated on the east side of Siquijor Island , in the small village of Maria.We like to be a comfortable budget friendly place to stay , for backpackers , families , local people and tourists from all countriesIt is a very quite place direct on a native beach and integrated in the local community of Sawang .Our family do every effort to make your rooms warm and cozy ,with their own private terraces , native garden in front of a white sand beach.If you would like to visit us only for a small snack , a tasty meal or enjoying some rest and a cool coconut shake on our beach, we welcome everybody with warm heart.

They have chicken, fish, steak, fried potatoes, salads, spaghetti, big hamburgers, milkshakes and many more other different choices . Average a meal will be around 150 to 240 pesos and a snack starts at 70 pesos. you can choose from different breakfasts and fresh brewed coffee or tell us what you like . breakfasts. If you like to help cooking or try to make local food yourself , you can have fun , tying our outdoor typical local coconut or wood fires and make magic food yourself. They also serve vegetarian food , and we love to prepare it the way you like

All cottages have ventilator .If you like to use the airconditioning.Sat tv whit movie, kids, news channel is available in cottage.fridge is available. We have 2 motorcycles for rent pickup at the harbour or bring back to the boat

By Air
You can take Manila or Cebu flight. From Manila it would take only 1 hour flight to Dumaguete and 40 minutes by fast ferry. From Cebu City 4 to 5 hours by fast ferry via Dumaguete.

By Land
Jeepneys are the cheapest way to get around but unfortunately there are no fixed schedule and just a few of them are running during all the day. Jeepneys go as soon as their cabin is completely full and this in Siquijor, can take long time. There're two main routes departing from Siquijor going to Lazi and vice versa, one thru San Juan and the other one thru Enrique Villanueva, always following the national road along the coast . You shouldn't pay more than a local because the jeepney drivers are mostly honest and nice people but keep on eye and watch when a filipino pay to the driver. The multicab and tricycles are the most common and easy way to get around the island. Siquijor is plenty of them, especially tricycles, so you don't have to go to any particular place, just go out to the main road and wait. It would take 30 minutes via Siquijor Circumferential Road.

By Sea
To get the Island there are basically two ways, by sea or by air. Siquijor has 3 seaports and 1 small airport close to Siquijor City. At the moment, the most common and used option is the ferry. There are connections from Cebu,City Cebu island, Dumaguete Negros island or Tagbilaran Bohol islandamong others cities.
