Few years ago, Ausans Beach Front Cottages formerly known Ausans Cottages offered 4 cottages only. Today, due to the demand of our valuable guest, Ausans Beach Front Cottages are newly renovated cottages and added selected air conditioned with TV Satellite rooms, a native concreted design bar and restaurant which offering western, European, oriental and Filipino foods, and various cocktails and cold beers and juices. 

We also offer selected beach front cottages and luxury rooms. free wifi, 24 hours hot shower on selected cottages and rooms, online booking either accommodation, boat and private van transfer,  full board meals, various tours, activities and amenities. Eventually, we will be offering a diving course. Ausa’s Beach Front Cottages is located in the center of Port Barton beside in Port Barton Tourism Assistance Center and the center of 1,500 meters of clean and finest white sand beach with crystal water, surrounded by coconut trees is found in the Northwest part in Palawan. Bordering South China Sea.

Beach Front Cottage 1 and 2- beach front cottage is approximately 12ft x 10ft main room to give that feel of openness, 5ft x 12ft in the balcony and 6ft x 6ft for private CR and bathroom. Main bedroom is around 5.5ft x 6.5ft with inclusions of table and chairs, fan, private CR, and bathroom. Maximum of 3 guests are allowed to accommodate this cottage.

Triplets Cottage Room 1, 2 and 3- situated at the back of beach front cottages with 10ft x 10ft space in the main room, 8ft x 13ft space for balcony and 5ft x 10ft private CR and bathroom. The main bedroom is around 5ft x 7ft to give the feel of openness with native table and chairs, fan, private CR and bathroom, and dresser. Triplet Cottage is based on 2 guests sharing cottage. Maximum of 3 guests are allowed to accommodate this cottage.

Beach Front Duplex Cottage Room 1 and 2- beach Front Duplex Cottage Room  is situated at the back of beach front cottages and duplex Family sized rooms. Approximately 14ft x 14ft in the main room to give that feel of openness, 8ft x 19ft for balcony space and 6ft x 10ft for private CR and bathroom. The main bed is 5ft x 7ft (60 x 84) and single bed is 3.9ft (60x 84) with elegant native table and chairs, fans, and dresser.Beach Front Duplex Cottage Room is based on 2 guests sharing cottage. Maximum of 3 guests are allowed to accommodate this cottage.

Beach Front Superior Room 1 and 2- Beach Front Superior Room is an air-conditioned room located at the beach front and 2nd floor of our Restaurant. Approximately 12ft x 15ft in the main room to give that feel of openness, 9ft x 14ft balcony space and 6ft x 12ft for private CR and bathroom, and 8ft x 11.5ft living room designed with sala set, driftwood table and chairs in the balcony, fans, LCD Flat TV, TV Satellite, 24 hours hot shower, safety deposit box and dresser. Beach Front Superior Room is  based on 3 guests sharing cottage.  Maximum of 4 guests are allowed to accommodate this cottage.

Duplex Family Cottage Room 1- Duplex type cottage is approximately 9ft x 12ft main room to give that feel of openness, 5ft x 10ft in the balcony and 5ft x 5ft for private CR and bathroom. Single bed is around 3.9ft x 7ft with fan and table and chairs in balcony. Duplex Cottage is based on 2 guests sharing cottage.  Maximum of 4 guests are allowed to accommodate this cottage. Ausan’s Beach Front Cottages is only resort in Port Barton with 17 hours running electricity from 7am to 6pm and 6pm to 12 midnight. Charges apply should you wish to extend electricity up to 6am.

Duplex Family Cottage Room 2- Duplex type cottage is approximately 9ft x 12ft main room to give that feel of openness, 5ft x 10ft in the balcony and 5ft x 5ft for private CR and bathroom. Single bed is around 3.9ft x 7ft with fan and table and chairs in balcony. Duplex Cottage is based on 2 guests sharing cottage.  Maximum of 4 guests are allowed to accommodate this cottage. Ausan’s Beach Front Cottages is only resort in Port Barton with 17 hours running electricity from 7am to 6pm (Resort Generator) and 6pm to 12 midnight (Public Electricity). Charges apply should you wish to extend electricity up to 6am.

Tours

Tour A Island Hopping- A whole day tour starts at 9am to 4pm. Cruise and snorkel in Port Bartons Marine Park in the morning. Hop from one island to another and enjoy a grilled seafood packed lunch (subject for availability). Tourists can go to Twin Reef, Wide Reef, German Island, and Exotic Island for swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing. The tour can be achieved if the weather permitted.

Tour B Island Hopping- A whole day tour starts at 9am to 4pm. Cruise and snorkel in Port Bartons Marine Park in the morning. Hop from one island to another and enjoy a grilled seafood packed lunch(subject for availability). Tourists can go to Aquarium Reef, Shallow place, and Paradise Island for swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing. The tour can be achieved if the weather permitted.

Tour C Island Hopping and Begaho Falls - A whole day tour starts at 9am to 4pm. Cruise and snorkel in Port Barton’s Marine Park in the morning. Hop from one island to another and enjoy a grilled seafood packed lunch(subject for availability). Tourists can go to Twin Reef, German Island and Exotic Island for swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing. Walk your foot within 20 to 30 minutes onto Begaho waterfalls. The tour can be achieved if the weather permitted.

Tour D Island Hopping and Long Beach- A whole day tour starts at 9am to 4pm. Cruise and snorkel in Port Barton’s Marine Park in the morning. Hop from one island to another and enjoy a grilled seafood packed lunch(subject for availability). Tourists can go to German Island and Exotic Island for swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing. Then travel onto Long Beach (tagged as the next Boracay) in San Vicente and be amazed with its 16 km refined and white sand beach. The tour can be achieved if the weather permitted.

Underground River Tour- Ausan Beach Front Cottages is only 2 ½ hours away from Sabang where the world famous Puerto Princesa Subterranean Underground River National Park, voted one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the world for the year 2012, is located. The Underground River tours can be achieved if the weather permitted. 

Pamuyan Falls and Hiking Tour- Pamuayan Falls is a 3.5 km walk and hike through a dense forest. You can view different species of plants and animals along the way. Pamuayan Falls drops 15-17 meters into a natural pond surrounded by palm trees. Various species of butterflies and dragonflies can also be seen within the falls vicinity. The whole tour approximately takes 3 to 4 hours depending your time spent required with accredited tour guide.

Directions to Ausan Beach Front Cottages

By Plane
Take a flight to Puerto Princesa once you arrive in Manila airport. Manila to Puerto Princesa flights will take less than an hour. Time duration goes the same way if your point of origin is from Cebu. Arriving in Puerto Princesa take a van going to Port Barton that would take 5 hours. The other option is to go out in the airport and take a trike going to San Jose Bus Terminal. In the termianl look for buses heading to El Nido and asked the driver or the barker to be dropped off in a place heading for Port Barton. From San Vicente the hotel is just a 30 minute drive. San Jose to Port Barton Terminal in Puerto Princesa to Port Barton Terminal is just a 2 minutes walk. San Vicente to Port Barton by boat is 45 minutes. Sabang or El Nido to Port Barton is 2 and a half hour.

By Bus
A bus heading for El Nido can dropped you off at the intersection of San Jose where in you have to wait at the intersection an hour or so for a jeepney that would go along the way to Port Barton. The road is quite muddy at times and regular buses would not get through it.

By Minivan
From the airport or from San Jose Terminal take a van going to San Vicente which is going further northwest of Puerto Princesa which would take 4 hours. Arriving at San Vicente take a boat going to Port Barton. The boat should take just less than an hour. Cheaper boats is just available in high season and so during low season you can hire a boat for around P1 500.

By Boat
Port Barton is an perfect stop-over point between Sabang and El Nido. The charter boats from Sabang to Port Barton will take almost 4 hours which would cost around P1 200. The Port Barton boatmen association allows the charter boats from Sabang to drop-off passengers, but deny them their right to take any passengers on to El Nido, or back to Sabang. For this reason, Sabang Charter Boat operators recommend the Coconut Garden Island Resort as being the perfect stop-over between Sabang and El Nido.  All registered boats have a capacity limits and a specific route to operate. A small boat registered for only short Island Hopping tours is not authorized for making long voyages from Sabang to Port Barton and El Nido.
