Reviews of Hotel Nicanor in Negros Oriental Philippines

The hotel is located near shopping malls, atms and the famous boulevard. The staff was extraordinary and helpful. They also gave us new towels and soap everyday even if it was not needed. It was convenient and comfortable. We only wished there was a safety deposit box in the room, but it was great!

We stayed on the 5th floor and had no issues with the hallway lighting. We found the staff to be very competent and courteous. We had no major issues with the room or housekeeping. The lighting in the bathroom is barely adequate and needs to be much brighter. The room is of a good standard with comfortable beds. The TV is an older model with a dodgy remote control.

The cleanliness was good and there was no view as the window looked onto a disgusting concrete wall with curtain closed that you have no idea what time it is. They had a hot and cold water cooler outside the room which was good. Outside the rooms there are no air conditioning so it is very hot and stuffy in the hallways. The room air conditioner was very loud. It is really just for staying somewhere to sleep, nothing more.

Check in or out was a breeze and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Free water refills from reception was nice and the WiFi in the room was excellent. The bed was decent size for a single and comfortable. The room was spacious and well appointed. The location of the hotel is excellent, being right in town but on a side street so was less congested but very easy to get a tricycle. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a value for money.

It was really good. They also have water coolers for obtaining drinking water, so you do not need to buy bottled water. Everything was as expected.
