Reviews of C and L Bayview Inn in Negros Oriental Philippines

This is a basic budget hotel. I stayed one night and unfortunately I was unable to sleep due to the noise from the fire station which is situated at the opposite side of the building. It is central in Dumaguete. When booking the hotel I was told they had a service to the airport which they forgot to mention was only accessable from 7 in the morning. However, the staff was helpful enough to meet my needs.

Rooms are not that big but kept clean and with fun colors that adds up to its quirky charm. Was luckily given a room with a terrace with a lovely view of town as I can see the church. They offer free airport transfer. Staff are friendly and room service responds to your requests fast. If you are checking in early or checking out late, you can always leave your luggage at the lobby for them to keep while you enjoy town.

Location is very good since it is near the market, church and bay. Staff are approachable and friendly. The room and toilet are a bit small but very colorful. They have a restaurant upstairs with good view of the city and bay area. Food is good. Chairs are also very colorful.

The view from the roof deck restaurant was great. My husband and I had a great time identifying city landmarks from where we were seated . Food was priced reasonably. I would even say that their prices were cheap in comparison especially considering that this is a hotel restaurant. The food and service was good but nothing exceptional.

I have stayed in this hotel three times over four years. The rooms are clean with good amenities. The staff are friendly and efficient. The price represents excellent value for money. The food is not good but there are great places to eat in town within easy walking distance.
