The room is worn down and I could smell that the bedsheets were almost to the brink of being called an antique. There were small cockroaches crawling over the sink and supposed kitchen area adjacent to the refrigerator. There was no free drinking water and when I called the front desk the person who answered reasoned out that they do not provide free water. The bathroom had that smell of mildew in it in spite of the fact there was a sanitized paper sign on the toilet seat. I did not let the night pass and I checked out after getting a mere 3 hours of sleep due to stress and frustration of the poor quality of this hotel.

The hotel room is good. However, beware that there is no security, but the elevator guy who can hardly be expected to deal with bad guys if any. Also, the door can be opened even without a key and when I complained, the guy from front desk said this is for housekeeping and that this is usual practice in most hotels.

Their rooms can be compared to those of the five stars hotels and very cozy too. The staff is very helpful and they even go the extra mile to help you. The WiFi connection is very poor in the rooms. Some of the rooms are now in renovations.

This hotel is a 30 year old building in which some units are available for individual nightly or longer letting. Security guards are posted at each of the two entrances but in reality anyone who wished to gain entrance to the building could do so easily. The first room in which I stayed was acceptable, although the bathroom was rather small. There is plenty of storage space and a balcony, which of course heats up during the day. Air conditioning units are noisy.
