Reviews of Golden City Hotel in Manila Philippines

The hotel is clean, and the beds are excellent. In my presence there was no declared free Internet access, but near the hotel there is an excellent Internet cafe. WiFi signal practically is not present in the rooms and cellular networks signal is also too weak. The personnel is very polite, especially the more senior man who is sitting near an entrance door he is always ready to help, prompt, carry out. For the money the hotel is really excellent. If I return to Manila, I will surely stop here.

The location is close to China town and also near Carriedo LRT. The single room is without a window on the second floor. It is quite and there is a restaurant downstairs which still have the service at 10h00pm and the price is reasonable. We were unable to try our dinner here as they said some of the dishes are out of stock. They also supply of toothbrush and soap inside the room. Free WiFi is easily connected and this is a budget stay.

When I arrived at the hotel I was not sure that it was the right choice, but as the hotel personnel were very helpful it became better. I would return again if necessary as it is very economical for just one or two overnight stays. Relative good and cheap food at their restaurant.

Had a wonderful time here. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. The room is very clean. Located in the centre of Manila. Good food and free WiFi. Although the place is not very classy, it is perfect for travellers on a budget. You will get what your money is worth I would come back.

It was not comfortable to stay in this hotel. It was dirty everywhere. The bed, the towels and the slippers were so disgusting! I absolutely don't recommend this to anyone. You will just waste your money and the area is very unsafe!
