Reviews of Gic Tourists Inn in Manila Philippines

This is a best place to stay in Makati and the BGC. Small but adequate, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I think this place was recently upgraded. I like it and I would recommend it to travellers on a budget. All the nice places are just minutes away.

I chose this hotel because it is located fairly near where I needed to be the next morning. There are a couple small food stalls around the corner. However, when I asked for help plugging my cord into the one outlet about six feet above the floor, a young man was there and was helpful. He came up and brought an extension. In the morning, the doorman helped me get a taxi, which was nice. Although this was helpful, I did not feel that the overall experience was one to be repeated or recommended.

I have travelled to several countries and the philippines is one of my favorite. When I got here I was impressed by the warm welcome and the splendid hospitality of the staff. I stayed for a week in the Makati location which is very conveniently located. It is just a few minutes ride to the financial and commercial districts. Gic is a small, but very clean and private place the rates are great, too.

Worst hotel I have ever been to, be warned, no soap, no toilet paper and the place is filthy. The outside area is a slum and it is in the middle of nowhere.

I have just returned from a 10 day holiday in the Philippines. My second visit to the Philippines and a wonderful experience both times. This time I stayed in Makati in a very small Budget Inn. The Inn was very small but quite comfortable, no creepy crawlies, flushing toilet, lovely hot and cold shower, air conditioning, and TV. I found the staff very helpful and obliging. The only extra I would have liked at this budget Inn would be a bedside light switch. Very good value that I would recommend to other travellers. I would certainly stay here again.
