Reviews of Mergrande Ocean Resort in Davao Philippines

I was very disappointed with the Mergrande Ocean Resort, I expected allot more but before I start with the negative comments let me first complement them on there positive qualities.The rates are very cheap and affordable. The manager is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and big. The beachfront is very nice, they keep it clean. That is all I can compliment them on.

Now moving on to the negatives, where do I start? The bedding needs to be changes, they have holes in the sheets. The shower's water pressure isn't working ,and the toilet doesn't flush properly. The showers are public, so if you shower make sure to lock the door. Oh did I forget to mention the doors are busy falling off there hinges? management needs to step in.

Finally I must say to everyone at the Mergrande Ocean resort, I appreciate all the hard work but there are allot of things that need fixing.

The rates are very affordable. The rooms are nice and clean. There showers work properly, what a relief to have a real shower. I would stay here again because of there great prices.

This is supposed to be a resort, yet there are no activities available. The pool was the only thing to do at the resort. No golf! They have tennis, but that's not what I expected. The rooms were dirty, the housekeeping staff need to pay better attention. The food was alright, the service was very slow I was highly irritated. I am not impressed with there service skills.
