Reviews of La Maria Pension and Tourist Hotel in Cebu Island Philippines

I booked a single room for myself then later I asked that they change it to a family room, to accommodate a friend and myself. I was told that it wouldn’t be an issue, then I was later informed that I would not get my money back and that I would have to pay again. A double payment was made, not impressed with how they handled the situation.

·The bathroom needs to be cleaned. The location is very isolated from shops and malls, you have to hire a taxi to get anywhere. I struggled to sleep because of the constant noise coming from the dinning area, they were holding a karaoke party. They were very inconsiderate and rude. I’m highly disappointed.

The hotel was very dark and felt very unsafe. There is no WI-FI. The price is very low but then again, that’s to be expected for the type of service they offer. Not even considering a second stay.

If you need a last minute stop over then this would be alright. The staff are very unfriendly and the service is poor. Not coming back any time soon.
