Reviews of Diplomat Hotel in Cebu City Philippines

The hotel has gone downhill over the past few years. There has been no maintenance done on the hotel. I stayed overnight and moved to another hotel. My suggestion to the owner would be to use some of the profits to do some renovations.

I stayed here because I was on a budget. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The beds are comfortable. The restaurants food didn’t really make an impression. You get what you pay for in this case. This hotel does not include a free breakfast with you’re accommodation.

The hotels surroundings are a bit disappointing. They do offer free WI-FI and the service I all done with a smile. The bathroom was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The manager really needs to step in and make a few changes.

The hotel is within walking distance to Robinson Mall and all the local nightlife. The air conditioning is pretty good. The hotel is said to be undergoing renovations soon. The hotels maintenance are fast and efficient. There are a few old rooms, they might be the ones you want to avoid. There are taxi services running by the hotel.

The staff and prices are really great. The rooms are equipped with a TV. The location is a bit far from the Cebu city but within walking distance to the Osmeña square. An amazing Spanish restaurant located in front of the Diplomat.
