Reviews of Alona Golden Palm Resort in Bohol Philippines

This mini resort is great especially if you want to have some privacy. We had the place all to ourselves and we can do whatever we want. The bed is very comfy and the bathroom is great. Staff are friendly and nice. The path outside the resort and going to the beach is partly a garbage site from other resorts and there are times that it would get smelly so just be aware of that. The room rates are worth the price you are paying.

The place is huge. We took the presidential suite and it was so big. The bathroom is also spacious. The suite also includes a shared balcony from the adjacent room. Outside the suite is a view of their clean pool and beautiful garden. They have a decent pool and a small jacuzzi area. The only downside with their pool is that the floor tiles can be quite slippery and if you do not know how to swim, you might slip all the way to the 10 feet level. The staff were all very nice and friendly.

We have just had a 4 day stay in the Alona Golden Palm Resort and would thoroughly recommend it, high standard accommodation all round, excellent food and tremendous hospitality from the owners and their staff. If we return to Panglao it will certainly be our first choice

Stayed here lots of times and is always our first choice. The location is good for the beach and the bars or restaurants on the main road. It is very private, great rooms with a nice little bar which also serves great food. The settings are perfect and spacious and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
